Create space to build wisdom. Give yourself time to apply what you learn. Take a moment to pause and breathe deeply. Turn that into a daily practice of mindfulness. Journal every day if you have to. Set aside time for silence and stillness. Seek guidance from mentors or advisors. Be open to different perspectives. Trust your intuition. Start small. And build from there.

🧠 Master Your Mind, Re-Shape Your Future. 🚀 I’ve been working on a meditation preparation for Human Performance Coaching, and I’m excited to say... I finished it this morning. Using the power of consciousness and the subconscious in your meditation practice is the idea. While many meditation approaches expect breakthroughs to happen during the session, I believe the real impact starts in the preparation. 💭 What do you really want to work on? 💭 What specific behavior or belief do you need to release or transform? 💭 What qualities, skills, and characteristics do you want to cultivate in yourself? 💭 What’s driving your current behavior? These are just a few of the essential questions that set the stage for deeper transformation. When you prepare with clear intention, the practice becomes more than just a meditation—it becomes a tool for life-changing growth. ❓ What are your thoughts on meditation prep? #HumanPerformance #GrowthMindset #MeditationPrep #SelfMastery #MindsetMatters #LeadershipDevelopment

Moment of Mindfulness Series: U for Unlocked This week in our Moment of Mindfulness series, we delve into the concept of 'Unlocked,' inspired by the teachings of my mentor George Mumford from his latest book, Unlocked: Embrace Your Greatness, Find Your Flow, and Discover Success*. Unlocking your greatness is not just about achieving personal success; it's about tapping into the vast capacities that lie within you—whether you're in the workplace, on the sports field, or navigating daily life. It's about embracing your true self and the unique gifts you bring to the world. This week, I challenge you to live by the philosophy of service and continuous learning. Explore what it means to truly bring forward your authentic self and share your unique talents and insights. How can you contribute positively to the spaces you inhabit? How can you serve others while also pursuing your own growth and success? Embrace the journey of unlocking your potential. Let’s strive to not only achieve our own goals but also uplift those around us, making a meaningful impact through our actions and presence. I’ve spoken with top-level CEOs and executives about emotions and strategy a lot this fall. I’m super-impressed by how they take emotions seriously and manage them. Simple, yet profound things, such as: 1. Intentionally focusing on learning, which requires admitting (in an ego-threatening way) that they do not already know everything. 2. Asking others how they feel about the decision topic to facilitate more open dialogue about difficult decisions 3. Personal self-reflection and mindfulness meditation (attending to your breath and/or hearth beat) to understand their personal feelings better. This enables them to share their own feelings openly and avoid unnecessary impulsive mistakes. 4. Considering how stakeholders holders will emotionally react to a decision. This helps them make decisions in a way that they are more likely to be implemented successfully. 5. Taking, giving, and requiring time for absorbing and processing emotionally difficult information. This is necessary because people cannot perform their best when exhausted or overwhelmed 6. Through these practices, making better decisions and leading their companies to higher performance

📚✨ Inspirational quotes are more than just words. They have the power to uplift our spirits, motivate us to chase our dreams and remind us of what truly matters. Here are a few reasons why I used to post a different one on my classroom board each day: 1. Motivation Boost: A simple quote can spark the motivation needed to start or continue a journey. 2. Positive Mindset: They help shift a mindset from negative to positive, encouraging people to see the bright side of every situation. 3. Perspective: Quotes can provide new perspectives on life and help to see challenges as opportunities for growth. 4. Connection: They resonate with people worldwide, creating a sense of connection and shared experience. 5. Mindfulness: Reading and reflecting on quotes can bring mindfulness and clarity to daily lives. What's your favorite inspirational quote that has helped you?
