Time to Rethink Our Education System!! In today’s fast-paced world, the traditional education model focusing primarily on theory is no longer enough. To truly prepare students for the real world, we must balance theory with hands-on experience. Imagine an education system where at least 50% of the learning is practical—students would not only understand concepts but also apply them in real-world situations. Practical learning makes understanding easier and more effective. It fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and the development of essential skills. By embracing this change, we can bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical expertise, helping individuals become more adaptable, innovative, and job-ready. #EducationReform #PracticalLearning #SkillsDevelopment #FutureOfEducation

The most harmful aspect of our education system is the 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀. 📊 Very few students truly study to gain knowledge anymore. Instead of grades, students deserve a system that 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿—𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲. • What is the real outcome of giving marks to students? • Does it help them gain knowledge or show how to improve? Or • Does it do more harm than good? Unfortunately, focusing solely on marks creates unnecessary pressure. It fuels 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Rather than fostering understanding and curiosity, 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹—𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻. Education should be about 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺. What we need is a system that provides 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸, 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. It’s time to rethink how we measure success in education and focus on fostering a love for learning over the pursuit of marks. 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱. There is different between higher education and good education 💯 Higher education and good education, while often conflated, are distinct concepts with different implications for personal and societal development. Higher education refers to formal learning that occurs at colleges and universities, leading to degrees and certifications. It typically emphasizes specialized knowledge in specific fields and is often viewed as a pathway to professional careers and higher earnings. Good education, on the other hand, encompasses a broader and more holistic approach to learning. It is not confined to formal institutions and degrees but instead focuses on the quality and applicability of the knowledge and skills acquired. Good education aims to develop critical thinking, creativity, ethical values, and lifelong learning habits. It is about cultivating an individual's ability to navigate and contribute to an ever-changing world, fostering intellectual curiosity, and promoting personal growth. The difference between the two lies in their core objectives and methods. Higher education institutions often prioritize academic achievement, research, and theoretical knowledge. While these are important, they do not always guarantee that students receive a good education. Good education, in contrast, prioritizes the development of well-rounded individuals capable of critical thought and effective problem-solving, regardless of whether this occurs within a higher education framework. Ultimately, while higher education can provide the structure and resources necessary for good education, the latter's true essence is in its emphasis on meaningful, applicable, and lifelong learning. A society that values good education ensures that its members are not only knowledgeable but also adaptable, ethical, and capable of independent thought, whether or not they have pursued formal higher education. #HigherEducation #GoodEducation #LifelongLearning #CriticalThinking #HolisticLearning #EducationQuality #BeyondDegrees #PersonalGrowth #EducationalExcellence #LearningForLife

EDUCATION OUR STUDENTS DESERVE In today’s rapidly evolving world, the kind of education we offer our students must go beyond the conventional focus on singular disciplines. Horace Greeley once said, *"What we need is an education that teaches men to look in various directions, qualifying them for different pursuits, enabling them to do what they desire and choose, and fitting them to do something else, if that which they select shall not continue to be profitable or desirable."* This quote captures the essence of what modern education should strive to achieve—a system that fosters versatility, critical thinking, and resilience. It is no longer enough to prepare students for a single career path. We must equip them with the skills to adapt, to innovate, and to pivot when necessary. In a world marked by constant change, where industries rise and fall, an education that encourages curiosity and nurtures a diverse skill set is essential. The education our students deserve should ignite their passion for learning, preparing them not only to excel in their chosen fields but also to embrace new opportunities as they arise. Such an education empowers them to face the future with confidence, knowing they are capable of navigating and thriving in a world that is constantly reshaping itself. This is not just a vision for the elite but for all students, regardless of their background or aspirations. We owe them an education that is dynamic, inclusive, and forward-looking—one that prepares them not just for the present, but for the many unknowns of tomorrow.

is our education system truly focusing on students' skills and knowledge? Today, many colleges emphasize certificates and grades over real-world skills and practical knowledge. many colleges lectures often feel like formalities, leaving students worried about their skills and future. 📚😔💡 Education should empower students! Without real-world skills and practical knowledge, graduates are not industry-ready. In today's competitive environment, theoretical knowledge alone isn't enough. 💻🔧🙏 Let's advocate for a better education system! It's crucial to guide students based on their skills and potential. Our focus shouldn't be limited to grades and rote notes. 🚀 #EducationReform #SkillsOverGrades #FutureReady #EmpowerStudents

The education systems that exist today were developed for students whose lives were vastly different from the lives of students at present. In an increasingly interconnected and complex world, how can education effectively equip young people with the skills to comprehend differing perspectives, considering that factual recall might be less significant? https://lnkd.in/dXK3PVZd
