More than 18.1 million people in the United States are living with or beyond cancer. This past Sunday, June 2, PerformRx was proud to celebrate World Cancer Survivors Day. Held annually on the first Sunday in June, World Cancer Survivors Day is a celebration of life, while also raising awareness of the challenges involved with living beyond cancer. Cancer survivors face difficulties such as long-term physical and emotional side effects, financial difficulties, and increased risk for other physical setbacks. Last month, we hosted a very special day as we were joined by an incredible group of people, each affected by cancer whether personally or through supporting a loved one, to better understand their experiences of navigating cancer. What did they tell us? 👉 There is fragmented cancer information across the web 👉 It can be an overwhelming and lonely space to navigate 👉 Medical jargon can be difficult to understand 👉 It's hard to know which information is trustworthy 👉 Tailormade and specific information is lacking and time consuming to find ...and so much more. Every cancer experience is unique, but when it comes to navigating cancer we believe many of these insights are universal. It's why we are building Cancer Platform - to enable everyone to face cancer, empowered with expert knowledge and truth.
