I can think of many products that I either gave up on or didn't enjoy as much as I could have, all because their digital experience wasn't on point. A recent example is a pair of well-known brand earbuds. They're actually better than Apple's AirPods in many ways, but setting them up and using the app is a real headache. It's such a letdown. A great example of how to use indoor navigation to solve todays problems! This said ... and I hope Andrew Hart doesn't get me wrong on this ... I think the future won't look like this (mid to long term). Sure - today we do have a lack of navigation in stores ... but future (imho) will use VR/AR/XR technology to bring the store with digital clones of the products right into your home / office / where ever you are ... it will give you a fundamental different shopping experience and will give you access to a store that offers every product you can imagine (and even those you cant). After getting exited and filling your cart ... amazon air drop will deliver everything via drones right to your home. What do you think? How will shopping look like in 2040?
