On the occasion of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, I want to take a moment to reflect on the impact each of us can have in the fight for equality and justice. These 16 days, running from November 25 to December 10, provide an opportunity to raise awareness, engage in dialogue, and take action to end all forms of violence against women and girls. Gender-based violence is a global issue that affects millions, often in silence. As professionals and leaders in our respective fields, it is crucial that we take a stand. We have a responsibility to create inclusive and safe work environments where everyone can thrive without fear of violence or discrimination. It’s important to remember that the fight against gender-based violence doesn't end after these 16 days; it is a daily commitment. Let us engage together to make this issue a priority in our professional and personal lives. Every voice matters, and every action counts. Together, we can contribute to a world where everyone feels safe and respected. Together, let’s make a difference. 💪💜 #16DaysOfActivism #GenderEquality #EndViolence #ActionForChange

📢 November 25 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Day 1 of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This day serves as a global call to action: 🌍 Raise awareness about violence against women and girls. 🛑 Prevent and eliminate gender-based violence worldwide. 📢 Advocate for policies and resources to end this pervasive human rights violation. Despite progress, violence against women and girls remains alarmingly prevalent. Globally, 1 in 3 women—an estimated 736 million—experience physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime. Weak law enforcement, discriminatory norms, and violence in public spaces, workplaces, and online further hinder progress. Together, we must work to create a world where women and girls can live free from violence and fulfill their rights. Join us in this fight. 💪 #16Days #EndViolenceAgainstWomen #GenderEquality #HumanRights #goldyouth #gold20 #stopviolence

Today marks Day 2 of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This global grassroots campaign, running from November 25 to December 10, aims to raise awareness and inspire action to combat gender-based violence. Living free of harassment, violence and abuse is a human right. However, 1 in 3 women worldwide will experience violence in their lifetime. While progress continues to be made, it is crucial that we take meaningful action to address this statistic. Violence against women and girls is preventable if we work together to change the culture that allows it to happen. By fostering a culture of respect, safety, and care within our industry and beyond, we can create environments where everyone can thrive. This commitment extends to building safe, inclusive and equitable workplaces where women are safe everywhere, always. We urge our communities, stakeholders, industry partners and colleagues to recognize the signs of gender-based violence and continue to take action, speak out and stand up throughout the 16 Days of Activism and beyond. Together, we can make a difference. #16Days #GenderEquality #ImpactThatMatters #WeAreValeBaseMetals
