It is important to value and appreciate women as intellectual partners rather than just as potential intercourse partners. This means respecting their intelligence, ideas, and contributions in a meaningful way that goes beyond physical attraction. It is essential to recognize and engage with women on an intellectual level, seeking their thoughts and insights in various areas of life, work, and society. By valuing women as intellectual partners, we can foster mutual respect and equality in our relationships and interactions.

Today, on International Men's Day, I'd like to acknowledge the incredible men in my life and around the world. Just as a canvas requires both light and dark hues to create a masterpiece, men and women bring their unique perspectives and strengths to create a harmonious whole. In a world where balance and equality are essential, let's celebrate the men who uplift, support, and inspire us. May we recognize that our differences are not weaknesses, but rather complementary aspects that make us stronger together. To all the amazing men out there, thank you for being our partners, friends, mentors, and role models. Here's to embracing our shared humanity and celebrating the beautiful synergy that exists between men and women! #InternationalMensDay #BalanceAndHarmony #PartnersInLife"

In a world where women no longer encounter barriers in their pursuit of careers in racing, science, or CEO positions, the notion of their exceptionalism should not be tied solely to their gender. It's a sobering reality that women too often make history merely by being the first or the only woman to achieve success in these fields. Such a narrative is not acceptable. Instead, women should be celebrated and recognized for their remarkable capabilities, their talents, their resilience, and their contributions to their respective fields, regardless of the career paths they choose to pursue. It's time to redefine what it means to be exceptional, shifting the focus from gender to merit, thereby fostering a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone's potential can be fully realized. Well said Mercedes-Benz AG

My first parliamentary breakfast ☕ was truly inspiring! I attended an event where our FidAR Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V. President, Prof. Dr. Anja Seng, presented the new FidAR Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V. demands to over 20 ladies from MPs to heads of department, united by one topic - #equality for women! The demands are clear: ‼ if we want to achieve parity in management positions by 2030, more needs to happen quickly. FidAR Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V. calls for concrete steps to achieve parity in management positions by 2030. These include the implementation and legal promotion of equality, the application of the EU Leadership Positions Directive in Germany, and the extension of the scope of laws on management positions for private and public companies. Moreover, FidAR Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V. is calling for a gender quota and legally enshrined, punishable sanctions for dealing with target figures. FidAR President Prof. Dr. Anja Seng said, "We need to set the course now if we want to achieve parity by 2030. The laws are effective, but they affect far too few companies." Let's work together to achieve #Paritaet2030. Stay tuned as we report on the parliamentarians' reactions and present the key points of our demands in more detail here on LinkedIn in the coming weeks. #equality #womeninleadership Thanks for the support Monika Schulz-Strelow Jessica Rische Julia Auf'm Orde

"SO MANY DICKS". What a great headline! But also, what a bold move for E.L.F. BEAUTY to make sure that this important topic gets the attention it deserves... E.L.F. BEAUTY found that there are more men named Dick (Richard, Rich, and Rick) on corporate boards in the US than entire groups of underrepresented people. 🤯 Not only is having a diverse board the right thing to do—it's the profitable thing to do. In 2023, McKinsey & Company found that boards with more gender diversity are 27% more likely to outperform less gender-diverse boards. The stats are similar when you compare all-white boards to more ethnically diverse ones. We can have Dicks in the board room, but we also need Jane and other diverse representation.
