🚀 Excited to share that the ARMA - NL Working Group on Generative AI is gaining momentum! Last week, we hosted the first in-person meeting at UMC Utrecht. I'm working alongside 24 colleagues from universities, university medical centers, and universities of applied sciences across the Netherlands. Our belief is simple: GenAI will transform how we work in research management and administration (RMA). Together, we're on a mission to empower RMAs to not only adapt but actively shape the future of our profession. What's next? For 2025, we're already planning: 📚 Training sessions and workshops 🤝 Knowledge exchange events 🔍 Mapping of AI initiatives Stay tuned for more updates! #ResearchManagement #AI #GenerativeAI #Innovation #HigherEducation #ARMANL #RMA
always an inspiration to follow what you guys are doing in the Netherlands! Is it still a grassroots thing, or have you managed to get your institutions on board?
Love to hear more about this! Maybe you can share in the SIG group?!! 😍
It is amazing to be part of this work group, learnt a lot as well.
Looking forward to see upcoming training sessions and workshops on this topic!
Big thanks to Team Utrecht Ryan Henderson, PhD, Ayla Kruis, MSc, Tse-Hsiang Chen, PhD for organising this! So useful to put our heads together and design concrete steps and plans to support the RMA field in exploiting the full value of AI. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and get to work!
Great what a group of enthusiasts can do! And also here counts: what you bring, you get back (maybe double). Thank you so much for picking this up.
