The U-shape of the villa, indicates that there's open access to the flow of Yang energy - the energy connected with activity and joy. If you noticed in the photo attached the U-shape of Villa Maia faces the sea. According to Feng-Shui the "water element" is connected to financial increase and opportunities, and so the positioning of the villa is prone to accepting wealth and new career opportunities. Generally, it's beneficial for the occupants to live in a villa with an U-shape facade, because except from the aesthetically beautiful minimalist design, it can be functional in terms of ventilation, heating and cooling if designed properly. And let's not forget that the views such design offers, contributes positively to their positive mental and emotional stimulation. Santana Terrace 🌿 Em 2020, demos o primeiro passo em direção a um projeto sofisticado, arrojado e sustentável. Após a aquisição do terreno e em conjunto com a equipa de arquitetura, começamos a trabalhar o projeto levando em consideração a necessidade cada vez mais presente de existirem espaços exteriores amplos para se usufruir em pleno do ambiente externo do apartamento. Elevamos um pouco mais a fasquia quando planeamos trazer o verde da natureza para os apartamentos através de jardins e coberturas ajardinadas. Nasceu assim o Santana Terrace. Fruto de muita conversa, muitos desenhos e detalhes. Acreditamos que todos os fatores definem uma atmosfera, um espaço. Neste edifício, procuramos definir um ambiente sereno, sofisticado, sustentável com uma forte conexão dos espaços interiores ao exterior. O Santana Terrace resultou num edifício de arquitetura ímpar. Destaca-se dos demais pelos seus volumes entrelaçados, pelo ecossistema verde que contorna todo o edifício e pela simplicidade dos materiais. Can buildings blend into the landscape instead of dominating it? I believe the Apartamenty Bałtycki in Świnoujście are a perfect example of this. The project, designed by the maxberg studio, has won the prestigious International Architecture Awards 2024 for its sustainable approach to multifamily housing. 🏆 What is so distinctive about this design? Above all, the remarkable fusion of modern form with natural surroundings. The facade, finished with wooden slats, not only adds aesthetic minimalism but also reflects the character of the nearby pine forest. It's a perfect example of how natural materials can create a smooth connection with the surrounding environment. The eco-friendly approach to construction is another strong point of this development.
