Good morning my friend. The Morning Mantra-1575. Dr Satheesh kumar Menon. THE LAST CAMEL IN THE LINE WALKS AS FAST AS THE FIRST. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LEAST OF US, HAPPENS TO ALL OF US. Have a thought about the interconnectedness & equality. It suggests that in a truly cohesive community, the progress & well-being of every individual are equally important. Just as the pace of the caravan is determined by the slowest camel, the strength of a community is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable members. No one is inherently better or worse than anyone else. Each person's value is intrinsic & irreplaceable. When one person suffers or is left behind, it affects the whole community, creating a ripple effect. Conversely, when each member is supported & uplifted, the entire community thrives. This philosophy encourages empathy, compassion & solidarity, urging us to look beyond superficial differences & recognize our shared humanity. When everyone has the opportunity to succeed & flourish, U build a society where equality & justice are not mere ideals but lived realities. Yes, true progress is inclusive, the dignity of every individual must be upheld for the collective good.

So sad that we are living in a society that has piled up so much bile against our fellow society and community members. The social tensions are always on the rise from differences in beliefs, values and even our socioeconomic status. But it totally makes no sense to fight your fellow family member, worse off, hurt or kill them because of blatant reasons. Let us try to foster empathy, open dialogue, and impart so much education that can help build understanding and bridge divides. Encouraging inclusivity and promoting policies that address systemic inequalities should also not be understated as crucial steps toward a more harmonious society.

I am so saddened, angry and upset, to have witnessed the surge of unrest and racist behaviour across our cities. These acts of hate and discrimination have no place in our society, and it is so important that we, as a community, take a stand against them. As a leader in the city of Manchester and a human who loves all humans, I am committed to fostering an environment that celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all individuals. I believe that every person, regardless of their background, deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness. Now more than ever, it is crucial for us to be actively anti-racist. This means not only condemning racist actions and rhetoric but also taking concrete steps to promote equity in our communities. We must educate ourselves and others, challenge discriminatory practices, and stand with racialised communities. Let us show that love, empathy, and unity can triumph over hate and division. Together, we can build a future where everyone feels valued and respected. I urge all of you to stand up and stand together against racism. Let us advocate for diversity, and be the change we want to see in the world. Alice Funke Solomon Jumoke Quadri Nurturing Foundations Manchester Youth Zone

Did you know that today is World Day of Social Justice? In our society, there is still the need to build a more equal and inclusive world, and awareness days such as today help to highlight this. One of the many ways in which we can do this is through the use of co-production- ensuring that people have an equal say by collaborating with any services they use that directly affect their lives. Our Champions group explain more here: https://bit.ly/42O36vS [AltText: A blue, purple and green border with the Include logo in the bottom right corner. Remaining silent on social issues, especially during times of crisis, whether as individuals or as a community, poses a significant risk to a society's ability to thrive. When considering the growth of a community, it is essential to take a holistic approach that addresses all aspects of humanity, relationship building, trust, transparency, development, and conflict, rather than limiting the focus to the specific profession in which the community operates. These values are vital not only for the community's progress but also for fostering global collaboration. Acknowledging concerns within a community, even when immediate solutions are not possible, is a cornerstone of meaningful engagement. It fosters trust, shows respect for diverse perspectives, and reinforces the idea that every voice matters. While redressal may take time, recognition alone can validate individuals' experiences and create a sense of belonging. Let's tackle the challenges and work together to foster better engagement within the community! 👥👥👥 #community #communityengagement #purpose #goals #vision #mission

It is crucial to recognize the impact of leaving a community out of imperative conversations that directly affect their economic well-being. When key decisions are made without the input or representation of those directly impacted, it not only diminishes the level of trust but also undermines the sense of ownership and buy-in from that demographic. By disregarding the voices and perspectives of a community, especially when it comes to matters that have significant economic implications, we risk perpetuating inequalities and injustices. The failure to engage all stakeholders in these discussions can lead to decisions that may benefit only a select few while further marginalizing vulnerable populations. When communities are excluded from important conversations, it creates a sense of powerlessness and erodes the trust that is essential for effective collaboration and sustainable progress. This lack of inclusivity can generate stress and frustration within the community, further exacerbating existing disparities. Therefore, it is imperative to actively involve all stakeholders in discussions that impact their economic well-being. By including diverse voices and perspectives, we not only ensure better decision-making but also foster a sense of unity, trust, and shared responsibility for creating a more equitable and prosperous future for all. What do equitable communities even look like? At Community Solutions, we talk a lot about wanting to create equitable communities by rethinking how systems are set up. Equity is about everyone having the resources to fit their specific needs, leveling the playing field. It’s different from equality, which gives everyone the same resources, ignoring the specific needs of a person or community. When we talk about “equitable communities,” we see them as communities where everyone is able to take up their own power, with programs in place to support people socially, physically and mentally through all stages of their life. #CommunitySolutions #Equity #Fairness #Justice
