Architecture Modernization: Most relevant topic for todays aspiring tech organisations. It's not only a job of architects, it requires socio-technical alignment in an organisation to meet its north star. To learn on this topic highly recommend "Architecture Modernization" book by Nick Tune 🇺🇦
I've been watching GOTO Conferences videos for over a decade and I always wondered if I would ever have the chance to speak at one of their events one day. This week I was lucky enough to have that opportunity. I would like to thank everybody involved in GOTO Amsterdam for inviting me, putting on a great event, and coming to my sessions 🙏 The Beurs van Berlage venue is pretty special. Here are the slides from my session on Wednesday: #architectureModernization

🌐 The paradox of choice at New Ag International Conference in Berlin! You know that feeling when you're at a buffet so grand you wish you had more than one stomach? That's a bit like attending the New Ag International Conference. Parallel lectures, an exhibition hall buzzing with innovation, and the ever-tempting one-on-one meetings that promise great opportunities (but also the fear of missing out on others!). Today, our OmniCult team stepped into this dizzying vortex of possibilities. But here's the twist: over the years, we've crafted a self-organization system that keeps us on track amidst this cornucopia of knowledge and network potential. It’s not just about being organized; it’s an art form. But I can't help but wonder... Are we missing the ultimate hack? The silver bullet that ensures you're always at the right place at the right moment? That's where I'd love to loop in your collective wisdom! ➡️ Share your top strategies for navigating conferences without that FOMO cloud hanging over you. How do you slice through the noise to connect with what truly matters? I'm all ears for your tips and anecdotes! Together, let's elevate our conference game to phenomenal heights! #NewAgInternational #AgTech #Conferences #NetworkingTips #FOMO New AG International, OmniCult FarmConcept GmbH, Matthias Heinz

Those who know me, know I have a strong opinion regarding conferences. Being a big fan isn’t typically one of them. However, I do cherish the exceptions, and this week at #theAISummit has been a positive one. The question is, what made it different for us at Kentivo? First, let’s look at the results, as they are what truly matter. We met numerous new people, leading to follow-ups for potential partnerships, AI consultancy, or simply connecting them to others in our network. We combined the event with reconnecting with existing relations and clients, some of whom we hadn’t met in person before and others we hadn’t seen in over five years. The (re)connection was invaluable. The presenters’ content gave us interesting take-aways, new insights, and confirmations from AI peers that our vision and strategy are well aligned. (More on this in a future AI-focused post.) Reflecting on what set this conference apart from others we’ve attended or sponsored in the past, several factors come to mind: 1) The conference had an excellent level of participation with AI peers and companies orientating themselves seriously on A.I. from around the world. 2) We weren’t there alone as a small company but as part of a group of companies in the field, supported by the Dutch government. 3) The opportunity to engage in meaningful, high-quality discussions that directly align with our interests and goals. These factors alone didn’t make the event a success, but they certainly set the stage for it. I keep my skepticism but to conclude: creating an environment for meaningful connections, providing high-quality content, and having strong support networks are crucial in turning a conference into a truly valuable experience. Lieke Conijn, Celeste Flores Uijtewaal and Hannah Verhage, it was serendipity that we stumbled upon this opportunity through an Netherlands Enterprise Agency newsletter. We greatly respect how the Dutch government supports not only large corporations but also companies like @Kentivo.

#High5club - or: Throwback Hannover Fair’24, part 2 It was a pleasure to meet so many interested people at the #HMI24, proud and motivated members, as well as engaged association partners and of course, potential new partners! I’d really like the spirit of the fair and the content related discussions we got: From #DigitalTwin to #Shopfloor to company specific challenges and how we face those challenges together! Cause this is an important aspect of digitalization: Nobody can do this alone. You need to include your ecosystem partners and – even more important: Your staff! No transformation w/o motivated and engaged people. Always keep in mind: Transformation is done by people, not by a company. Therefore, it is required to provide a base for open discussions and reflecting your challenges in an open-minded round of specialized people. #bettertogether is not just a buzzword – it’s the clear foundation, required to be successful on the road to #Industry40. Last but not least: You may ask “What’s that bike idea and why your booth was equipped w/ so many bike parts?” Simple explanation: Using a bike as example, enables almost everybody to understand the composition of material and process, leading to a valuable end customer product – and fulfil certain requirements, like the Digital Product Passport #DPP and Carbon Footprint #PCF. It’s easier to have a common ground for discussion, instead of requiring highly specialized domain knowledge. The bike is a great way to explain and tackle the challenges together. And yes - we’re proud to celebrate the 5.th anniversary of our great alliance: Great members, great people and challenging topics! All we need to face challenges together and pushing #digitalization forward! Thanks to all supporters, to all the engaged people, to all the great ideas and projects we’re going to realize! Jonas Grundler (Novatec Consulting GmbH) Jan-Rémi FROMENTIN, Bastian Schmick (ifm) Peter Raber (META-LEVEL Software AG) Michael Riester (Endress+Hauser Gruppe) Christian Guenther, Sebastian Fischer, Uwe Laechele (conplement AG) Thomas Neumann (M&M Software GmbH) Dominik Obermaier (HiveMQ) Dr. Thiago Weber Martins (SAP) Ekrem Yigitdoel (Open Industry 4.0 Alliance) Music: DRIFT by Philip E Morris #copyrightfree #oi4alliance #oi4rocketboost #digitalisation #i40
