Here’s a big idea for someone to run with. For the longest time I have thought that whilst bookshelves filled with books one has read is a marvellous thing, at the same time, the books become decor pieces and that is such a waste, when one considers in how in so many countries around the world, so few people have access to books. So I wondered why not create book wallpaper, so if people donate their books to NGO’s and charities, the bookshelves could still look like they have books. And then I saw this on the wall of our hotel in Portugal, and it reminded me of my idea. Much like our global Street Store concept, why can’t we set up global virtual libraries or “book shops” for people to come an collect books they are interested in reading. Also for school and universities, to donate your textbooks. Anyone want to run with this idea ? A Coporate perhaps? #TheStreetStoreBookStore 📚

If you run a school and have the pressure of fundraising on your back, a big part of how you'll fundraise is by utilizing your students and parent body. The cool thing about a school (unlike a regular charity), is that you already have so many supporters. But why would you want to turn to the parents for money? Aren't they paying enough tuition? What if you don't ask them for money? What if you ask them to help you with the fundraising process? Your next question is likely, "How do I do that without scaring them away?" Or you're thinking, "This seems like a big project". If that went through your mind, you understand WHY you need to do this, but you just don't know HOW.
