Check out our 2030 Uganda strategy 👉 We're partnering with the Ministry of Health - Uganda to scale up emergency care and reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) services.     Alongside our partners Busitema University, Lira University, Mbarara University of Science & Technology, Muni University, and Mulango National Referral Hospital we are working towards three objectives ⬇️    1. Grow our high-quality training programs    ▪ Train 120 emergency medicine doctors.  ▪ Provide in-service training to 27,000 health workers.     2: Focus on clinical excellence    ▪ Achieve a 30% reduction in preventable maternal, perinatal, and child mortality at Seed-supported hospitals.  ▪ Achieve a 30% reduction in 24-hour adult mortality from emergency conditions.    3. Strengthen health system resilience    ▪ Work with the Ministry of Health on workforce planning to reduce vacancy rates and improve retention.  ▪ Develop a climate change framework to integrate impacts into the health system.    We are partnering deeply with the MOH and others to strengthen Uganda's health system. Together we can create a healthier future for Uganda.    Read our 2030 Uganda strategy below ⬇️    #HealthSystems #GlobalHealth #EmergencyCare #RMNCH #Uganda #HealthWorkers #2030Strategy #ClimateChange     Irene Atuhairwe Dr. Brian Agaba (MBChB, MMed Obs/Gyn, MPH, FETP) Andrew Twineamatsiko Prossy Nakattudde
