Teamwork. This time last year we had an expensively assembled team. But. It was badly led with no direction, no clear goals and everyone pulling in different directions with their own agendas. It was destined to fail. This year is different. A unified team working together and well led. The whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. Whatever the result at Wembley it won't be failure, it will be a step towards the goal, because failure can't occur when the goal is clear. The similarities in sport and business are clear. Does your team understand it's purpose? Is your team well led and working towards a shared goal, clearly understood by everyone?

18 months ago we had grown quickly but the team lacked clear direction. Today, we are a unified and motivated team, achieving more than ever before. The change was due in large part to a simple change we made ⤵️ We implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System. With the help of EOS, we had a clearer idea of what was most important in our business. ❌It’s not our finances. ❌It’s not our strategy. ❌It’s not our technology. ✅It’s our team. With the framework EOS offered, we knew exactly how to build a stronger team. And here’s what we did ⤵️ 1/ Created a shared vision and goals - communicated to all. 2/ Consistent approach to team collaboration. 3/ Gained clarity on accountability and roles & responsibilities. 4/ Improved support and feedback. Let’s get personal for a moment and join forces. 💪 I often think the perfect time for us to reflect on the profound impact of unity and how we can continue fostering a culture of togetherness within our team, is around holidays. But why are we not reflecting on a day-to-day basis? When each team member feels encouraged, togetherness blossoms. If you exist as a source of encouragement, offer helpful feedback, and promote open communication, you'll see this firsthand. Creating customs and themes inside the team strengthens the bond between members. These customs, which can include anything from a weekly team meeting to a monthly celebration of accomplishments or a shared lunch, foster continuity and solidarity that go beyond the daily responsibilities. They also help to ensure alignment. The sense of unity grows when every person feels appreciated and included. By embracing the strength of unity, we strengthen our resistance to impending problems and improve the culture at work.
