You’re missing out on the support you deserve because you’re searching for support you’ll never get 🙅🏽♀️ As we celebrate our one year anniversary, I am reminded of just how amazing my husband is. He attends ALL of my presentations and performances, encourages me when I’m feeling down, pushes me to do better when I’m being lazy, and he always has my back. Before him, I looked to my job for that support. While sometimes it worked out, way too often was I left hurt and disappointed. You know why? Because I wasn’t letting my job just be my job. I was trying to get it to fill a role in my life that my contract never stipulated. Double check your contract… unless you see it explicitly stated that your job will support and fulfill you, stop expecting that. Sis… it’s ok to take a step back and find your support and fulfillment outside of your job. It doesn’t mean you can’t still operate in excellence, it just means that you’re actively choosing to live a life that is not dictated by how your day at work went. It’s time for you to start thriving, not just surviving. Happy New Month Everyone. It is a new day and a new month of this year that will never come again. So surprising how time flies. Reminiscing, we can all remember celebrating New Year not long, like it was yesterday. Now it is June. The first half of year 2024 is coming to an end. I hope and pray that all our prayers and expectations will be met in this new month. Today, I implore you to take a short period of time out of your busy schedule to brood. Think of the past months and be grateful for both the little achievements and bourgeois ones. Remember being grateful is the access to more blessings and opportunities. Also do not forget to gauge yourself. Ask yourself thought provoking questions like; - How well have I developed myself within these past months? - What have I learnt that will sharpen my understanding? - How have I made impact on others etc. Ask yourself these questions. They are yardsticks you will use to measure yourself and know your prowess. Remember, Time Waits For No One. Once again, Happy New Month. Ngozi ✍️✍️.

🌟 Grateful for the Journey 🌟 Today marks the last day of my journey with my current employer. As I reflect on my time here, one quote stands out: "8 hours in the right organization feels like 8 minutes." I was fortunate to experience what a truly supportive work environment feels like. My manager has been incredible, and my team? Just WOW! 💫 One moment that stands out is when I fell sick but still came to work. When asked why I didn’t rest at home, I explained: "I’m not used to staying home when sick unless I’m completely incapacitated. It’s the experience I carry from where I’ve been." I shared an analogy with my manager: "It’s like coming from an abusive relationship and then finding love and care in a new one—it feels too good to be true, and it takes time to accept that love." Her response? "You are now loved, and you need to embrace it." 💙 This experience taught me the importance of creating a workplace culture where employees feel genuinely valued and cared for. To all employers: 💡 Treat your employees with respect and compassion. 💡 Encourage them to take the time they need to heal. 💡 A healthy, supported employee will always come back stronger and more productive. To my soon-to-be former employer, manager, and team—thank you for showing me what a healthy, positive work environment looks like. I’ll carry these lessons with me forever. 🙏 Here’s to new beginnings and taking these cherished memories forward! 🚀

In a world where everyone is racing toward something bigger, it’s easy to forget to pause and appreciate the now. Whether it’s chasing career milestones, personal achievements, or financial goals, we’re often so focused on what’s next that we forget to embrace what we have. I’ve been there too, constantly planning and striving for the next step in life. But what I’ve learned along the way is that everything has its time. Sometimes, the most significant progress comes not from running faster but from being still and trusting that things will fall into place. As the saying goes, “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” When we allow ourselves to be grateful for the present moment, we create space for more joy, success, and fulfillment to naturally flow into our lives. There have been times in my career and personal journey where things didn’t go as planned, but looking back, those moments were the very ones that shaped me. They made me stronger, more adaptable, and taught me the power of trusting the process. So, take a deep breath. Trust the path you’re on. As I approach my three-year anniversary at my current job, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey I’ve had. I’ve learned so much and grown both personally and professionally. One question that often crosses my mind is, how do recruiters perceive candidates with diverse experiences in different fields? Feeling incredibly grateful for what I do every day. Being a people person by nature, I thrive on the energy and connection that comes from human interaction. There’s truly nothing like it. What I love most about my job is the variety—no two days are ever the same. Each conversation is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships. Over the past two days, I’ve had the pleasure of being out of the office catching up with some wonderful existing clients while also meeting new ones. These interactions remind me of the power of authentic connections and the impact they have in shaping both business and personal growth. Today I am celebrating one full week at my new job, and finally checking something off my to-do list! 🎉 Starting a new job or project comes with so many large tasks, that it's hard to find small things to check off along the way. It's a process of familiarizing yourself with everything and figuring out where in the world to begin. For me, it's important to have those small, tangible accomplishments as reminders that even if I haven't reached the main goal, I am well on my way.
