The next i14y Summit will occur in Berlin on September 12th. EANTC AG, a consortium member of the i14y Lab project, will present our project results. In a joint presentation with Deutsche Telekom and BISDN GmbH, Carsten Rossenhövel will speak about the automated, efficient, and reproducible O-RAN end-to-end testing processes we have created. We will offer EANTC lab tours and more detailed insights into our quality standards and O-RAN testing services during the event. Interested participants can register directly upon arrival at the event’s main entrance. The Berlin Open RAN Working Week (BOWW) conference will be held on September 10th and 11th, also in Berlin. During this conference, topics such as the security, cost optimization, and complexity reduction of disaggregate radio access networks and their relevance for verticals will be discussed and advanced. This will give you three full days of open RAN discussions, talks, panels, and networking in one place under the common motto “Open RAN – Unity in Variety.” You can register for BOWW and the i14y Lab Summit 2024 for three days or choose which day you want to attend. ✨ An Old Project, Endless Value: The Battle Truck Simulators 🎮🔥 It’s always satisfying to look back on a project that continues to make such a big impact, even years later. For me, the Battle Truck Simulators are one of those standout achievements. Working with the incredible team at Applied Virtual Simulation to design and build these state-of-the-art machines was such an exciting journey, and it’s amazing to see them still delivering immense value today—and well into the future. From the moment we started brainstorming concepts, we knew this was something special. We designed these simulators not just for the here and now, but with adaptability and longevity in mind. Seeing them in action at four sites across Australia, especially now at the North Queensland Simulation Park, is proof of how well they’ve stood the test of time. These simulators are more than just high-tech machines; they’re a tool that’s helping to shape the future, training operators and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in simulation. This project is a great reminder that when you invest in quality design, manufacturing, and execution, the rewards keep coming. It’s been a privilege to see how this “oldie but a goodie” has continued to shine and bring value to so many. https://lnkd.in/g3QfuFaU
