🚀 Enhance Your Robotics with Advanced SLAM Technology! 🤖 If you’re working on robotics, integrating a reference map with SLAM can significantly elevate your project. For example, you can detect obstacles in your environment while performing SLAM and plan your robot's trajectory to avoid collisions effectively. We demonstrate here how obstacles can be clustered, whether they are static or dynamic. This feature is now available in our ROS wrapper for our open-source SLAM library: https://lnkd.in/eXsuWirb. 🔍 Ready to experience the power of our SLAM in ROS? Give it a try and see how it can transform your robotics applications!

Ingenious Creation : Obstacle Avoiding Robot. I'm thrilled to unveil my project from the Introduction to Robotics course: a robot that autonomously navigates its environment! This little marvel utilizes sound waves to detect obstacles in its path, cleverly maneuvering around them. The magic lies within the code. By interpreting readings from an ultrasonic sensor, the program instructs the motors to adjust direction, enabling the robot to travel independently. This project served as a fantastic introduction to fundamental robotics concepts. It provided hands-on experience with integrating sensors, controlling motors, and crafting code to bring it all to life. #IntroductionToRobotics #Arduino #RoboticsProject

🎥 Highlighting Exceptional Work in Robotics Simulation As the year comes to a close, I wanted to share a project by Norman Dong, showcasing an outstanding application of #SimscapeMultibody for robotics. I found his work just a few weeks back while searching for biped simulations. The simulation demonstrates a biped robot moving backward and turning, tasks that are incredibly challenging to achieve with stability and precise control, both in real-world systems and in simulations. Norman has also shared additional intriguing results of biped motion on his YouTube channel. I highly recommend checking them out: https://lnkd.in/gafpVRzk 👏 Kudos to Norman for this impressive work in advancing robotics simulation! 🚨 Not my work #Robotics #Simulation #Simscape #BipedRobots
