Smiley Company’s Post

Another amazing partnership, which has been a pleasure to work on. There couldn't be a more important message around Christmas time.

Chief Executive officer at The Smiley Company (creator of the original Smileys). Philanthropist at Smiley movement.

Sackcloth & Ashes have donated hundreds of thousands of blankets to the homeless. Bob Dalton, Cody DeJardin, Jeremy Seick & the team are building something inspiring. For every blanket sold, Sackcloth & Ashes donate a blanket to a homeless shelter in the USA. They’ve got a bold vision to donate 1 million blankets - amazing. I love partnering with brands who want to help others, so I’m excited to launch the Smiley x Sackcloth & Ashes Bloom Collection. US artist & author Morgan Harper Nichols (pictured) designed four unique blankets for us, mixing beautiful flowers and toned down, edgy colour palettes together with our bright Smiley. Morgan is a great storyteller. I love her art and the spirit she’s brought to this range. S&A used a blend of recycled fabrics, acrylic, polyester, wool, and fibres gathered from donated clothing, factory scraps and landfill to produce these blankets, so they don’t take from the planet. Well done to Janet Martin, Gill MacKenzie and everyone involved at Smiley Company for creating another beautiful, positive project that helps others. I’m so proud of this collection. The Bloom collection is available now in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and Italy, visit sackclothandashes[dot]com
