Our ethos has always been to promote business as a force for good, and this always informs our programme design, from accessing information about becoming a B Corp, Community Interest Company where appropriate, and diving into alternative funding opportunities. Our founder community’s ongoing contributions to social and environmental change is outstanding, with 83% of entrepreneurs who participated in our cohort programmes last year directly addressing one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with their business. That's over 220 social impact businesses. Our ethos has always been to promote business as a force for good, and this informs our programme design. Meaning that our founders have access to information about becoming a B Corp and Community Interest Company where appropriate. In today's rapidly evolving world, young entrepreneurs are emerging as key players in driving positive change on a global scale. With their innovative ideas, unwavering determination, and a strong sense of social responsibility, these enterprising individuals are reshaping industries, challenging traditional norms, and addressing pressing issues facing humanity. Their endeavors not only contribute to economic growth but also foster sustainable development and social impact. One of those young entrepreneurs is Una Karabeg. Her most remarkable characteristic is her ability to think outside the box. Una and the other young entrepreneurs who attended #BudapestBalkanYouthForum and #BudapestBalkanForum2024 are leveraging technology to create scalable and impactful solutions. With the advent of digitalization and the internet, they have access to a vast array of tools and resources that enable them to reach markets beyond borders and connect with like-minded individuals and organizations. They are increasingly prioritizing social and environmental sustainability in their business practices. They recognize the interconnectedness of economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and social well-being. Through initiatives such as sustainable sourcing, ethical production, and community engagement, they are demonstrating that profitability and social responsibility can go hand in hand. Another significant aspect of young entrepreneurship is its emphasis on collaboration and partnership. Recognizing that no single entity can solve complex global challenges alone, young entrepreneurs are actively seeking collaborations with governments, NGOs, academia, and other stakeholders. By forging partnerships based on shared goals and mutual respect, they are amplifying their impact and catalyzing systemic change. Those young entrepreneurs are at the forefront of driving global change. Through their creativity, resilience, and commitment to making a difference, they are inspiring a new generation of change-makers and shaping a brighter future for all. As we navigate the complex challenges of the 21st century, let us continue to support and empower young entrepreneurs in their quest to build a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous world.
