Roof Top Solar in Restaurants Researchers have conducted simulations on the use of bifacial photovoltaic (PV) panels and proton exchange membrane reversible fuel cells to power restaurants in five different U.S. states. By considering the varying rear-side energy gains of the bifacial PV systems, they discovered that the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) could be as low as $0.029 per kWh. #solar #solarmounting #solarroof #solarroofmountingsystem #PV #greenenergy

Today we are going to talk about BC Technology! 🧐 ▶ In 1961, William Shockley and other researchers calculated the efficiency limit of p-n junction solar cell to be 30%; 🖊 ▶ In 2013, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems revised the theoretical efficiency limit of monocrystalline silicon to be 29.43%; 😀 ▶ In 2018, the Solar Energy Research Hamelin finally revised it to 29.56%, that is, in a perfect state without any loss, the efficiency of crystalline silicon cell is 29.56%. 👏 About 29.56%, I make a form for your easy understanding. 📄 In this form, I listed the type, power, dimension, power per cell and cell efficiency of LONGi, Jinko and Aiko module. And we can learn that the current maximum power of 2278mm size module is Aiko 615Watt. 🏆 Theoretically, the maximum power is 700Watt. 700Watt minus 615Watt means there is still room for growth of 85Watt. 📈 ✨ I hope you to remember these two values. This webinar is highly recommended, for all stakeholders in PV. If at some point you will buy/sell/insure PV assets or PV modules, it helps if you have more data about what has happened to the PV modules in their lifetime. This also means that you can obtain a higher value for well-documented systems. Some of the discussions I've been involved in point to issues about the PV and battery lifetime passport, and how well the life of the system has been documented. This also points to the wide range seen in the PV industry, where industry leaders can tell exactly what happened to a module in year 13, and others just say "this module is from manufacturer X, with nameplate power Y".
