SOS Humanity’s Post

“Once the mass casualty had begun, time kind of becomes a vortex. It's deeply overwhelming.”  A critical rescue during the last mission demanded everything from our crew. Vanessa, our paramedic on board, tells us what happened and how important intensive training is for when an emergency occurs.    Our crew is leaving today and preparations for next year are already in full swing. With six rescues and 347 people rescued from distress at sea, our last mission was a great challenge. Our mission at sea and on land is only possible with a committed civil society and strong alliances like United4Rescue - thank you for your great support! 📷: Wanda Proft / SOS Humanity

Humanitarian efforts at its best, worth more than its weight in gold. I'm slightly jealous that I have never contributed so personally in making a difference to other people's lives!
