A Farncombe woman, Dianne Covey, credits a new AI tool for saving her life after her lung cancer was detected within hours by the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. The Annalise.ai system flagged her chest X-ray for urgent review, leading to a Stage 1 cancer diagnosis and a positive prognosis. Ms. Covey expressed gratitude for the technology, saying it gave her a second chance at life. The AI tool, now used across five NHS trusts, prioritizes high-risk X-rays and enhances diagnostic accuracy by detecting even tiny anomalies. This advancement not only accelerates critical diagnoses but also marks a significant step forward in AI-assisted healthcare. #AIHealthcare #LungCancer #EarlyDiagnosis #AnnaliseAI #RoyalSurrey #LifeSavingTech Article Link: https://lnkd.in/gUb_8H6J

The five-member group shared deeply personal commonalities; however, their outcomes vastly differed which opened the necessity to capture the initial conversation. Discussion topics included: • Faith • Cancer treatment • Surgeries • Impairments • Finances • Relationships Their realities reveal a very different living experience from those who have been blessed to live free of a cancer diagnosis.
