Sexual violence, a form of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), is any sexual act without freely given consent. This includes rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and other forms of coercion. It's a serious human rights violation with devastating physical and psychological consequences for survivors. Addressing GBV requires comprehensive strategies including prevention through education, supporting survivors, and holding perpetrators accountable.
