Did you know one third of people in the US are being exposed to unhealthy levels of air pollution? The American Lung Association’s annual State of the Air report showed a huge 11.7 million increase in harmful ozone and particle pollution compared to this time last year, with California topping the list of the most polluted metropolitan areas. President Biden has announced new standards to reduce tailpipe emissions from diesel-powered trucks and cars, but there’s clearly more work to be done. What do you think global governments can do to put clean air first? Or is there a tip you can share for a business owner or individual to contribute to making a difference?
