El BIM (Building Information Modeling) no es solo una herramienta, es una metodología que transforma cómo planificamos, diseñamos y gestionamos proyectos. Va más allá del simple 3D. Aqui te explico cuales son las dimensiones. 1D: Es la etapa de ideas y conceptos para el proyecto. 2D: Se inicia a hacer los bocetos de las ideas y conceptos realizados en la dimensión anterior. 3D: Se realiza el modelo 3D del proyecto desde de tener el boceto y las ideas generales. 4D: Se añade el tiempo al modelo 3D, se simula cuanto tiempo puede durar cierta actividad, se planifica y ejecuta de la mejor manera posible. 5D: Se integra el factor económico en las dimensiones 3D y 4D en el cual este elemento es una variable importante. 6D: Entra la variable de la eficiencia energética, es decir, hacer analisis energeticos en los edificios para comprobar la sostenibilidad, seguridad y .salud. 7D: Gestión de infraestrucutra e inmuebles. 8D: Entra el factor de seguridad en la fase de diseño y la ejecución del proyecto. 9D: Lean construction 10: Automatización del proyectos. Cada dimensión añade un valor clave, permitiéndonos optimizar plazos, controlar presupuestos, garantizar la eficiencia energética y gestionar edificios de manera más sostenible. Trust me when I say a few of the structures built decades ago were mostly out of traditional methods which had recorded portions of waste both human and material wise. Trying to figure out some processes manually, excess time spent in carrying out tasks, repeated repairs due to substandard building procedures. All these were as a result of no innovative techniques as at that time compared to today's mode of operation, where we now have innovative techniques that ensure easier way of carrying out building procedures and coming out with quality and lasting results The construction industry, while certainly not child's play, is experiencing a revolution one fueled by innovation. New technologies and techniques are transforming the way we design, build, and manage projects, leading to increased efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
