Last month, Elemental Energy met with The Long Run's members to talk about the role of hydrogen in decarbonising conservation and sustainable tourism. 🐘 At Elemental Energy, We see clean energy production and emissions reduction as key challenges in the movement towards sustainable tourism. The Long Run is a UK-based nonprofit on a mission to protect wilderness in perpetuity through the 4Cs: Conservation, Community, Culture, and Commerce. Elemental Energy presented an overview of hydrogen technology and how recent advancements are enabling impactful new use cases at smaller scales. #Hydrogen systems can be integrated with common #renewable assets like batteries and solar panels to create clean, powerful energy solutions. Our discussion explored replacing traditional diesel generators with hybrid renewable energy solutions at various scales. We looked ahead a few years to when the hydrogen power infrastructure that we're putting in today will begin supporting the adoption of hydrogen vehicles to further reduce carbon emissions and eliminate diesel. ⚡ By demonstrating practical, scalable solutions for clean power, we're helping pave the way toward a fully sustainable future. www.thelongrun.org www.elemental.energy
