I just had an inspiring conversation with a fellow coach at CareerFoundry that reminded me of the immense value of connecting with colleagues. Why? These exchanges are not just pleasant catch-ups; they're opportunities for growth, learning, and expanding our perspectives. Here's why I believe that these conversations should be a regular habit: 💡Fresh insights: every person brings unique experiences and points of view, adding new ideas for our own work. 🌏 Cross-cultural understanding: learning about different work cultures and approaches is invaluable, broadening our horizons while learning more about ourselves as well. 🔥 Inspiration and motivation: Hearing about others' passion for their work can reignite our own enthusiasm. 🤝 Opportunities: These connections often lead to collaborations, referrals, or new opportunities we might not have encountered otherwise. So if you are looking for an expert in #negotiation and #interculturality, Ken Tan (CCSP) is the person to talk to! Remember, every conversation is an opportunity to learn something new. Ask yourself: → Who would I like to catch up with, in the next 2 weeks? → What would I like to learn from them? #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking #ContinuousLearning #CareerGrowth

*drop the mic* 🎤 Uzair Qadeer (BBC): "Of all the skills you learned last year, 40% are obsolete and no longer needed in 2 years. Gone are the days when you could make a career out of a skillset. It means that for HR it is all about supporting people to continuously learn and new skill building, supporting them being resilient. Systematically learn new skills to shift careers. Careers are all about continuously reinventing yourself" We couldn't have said it better! This aligns perfectly with Inuka’s core heart and mission: Empowering everyone to not just navigate but thrive in a world of constant change ❤️ What an enlightening panel HR Technology Europe - Josh Bersin, Bo Vialle-Derksen, Esmé Valk and Uzair Qadeer 🙌

Although I joined here as a Manager and not an entry-level consultant, my sentiments are the same as those of Charles: “It is essential to frame our time at Pariveda as part of a lifelong journey of growth, not just a career. My journey from Consultant to Vice President has been both rewarding and challenging. However, the support and investment from Pariveda have made all the difference.” - Charles Knight Learn more about Charles' career path: https://lnkd.in/gNUpcQ6e

This World Cultural Diversity Day, I’m fondly remembering this very important meeting with the @Sandoz ASIA Cluster Leadership Team and our Region International Head @Francisco Ballester last February, a few weeks after our Team Kick-off in Manila, Philippines, to follow through with our action plan commitment. This photo encapsulates how truly diverse our amazing team is. Our cluster is, in fact, home to 10 countries, with over 500 languages spoken, 11 major religions, a population of around 1.8 billion, and 700 employees. Given these facts, I could not emphasize enough how important it is for us to foster an inclusive and diverse environment where every one of us feels welcomed and is encouraged to bring our unique selves to work. What I’ve observed amidst this diversity is that there are 3 universal truths across our team in building trust: First, respect and active listening for fruitful collaboration across teams and countries. Second, #CulturalCuriosity: willingness to be educated about others' cultures and traditions helps create an environment where people feel valued and sincerely considered. Third, doing what you say you would: Regardless of cultural differences, keeping our commitments shows utmost regard and strengthens trust. Our cultural background is a critical part of who we are, and to the patients we serve. Acknowledging, learning, respecting, and celebrating these differences are essential to fulfilling our purpose in @Sandoz—that is Pioneering Access for Patients. That is why as a leader, this is a commitment I keep—to uphold a welcoming, respectful, and discrimination-free work environment at all times. #SandozDEI #SandozLife

🏆 The Benefits of Friendly Competition: What We Learned from Our Team Event!🏆 Recently, our team got together for a day of friendly competition, and it taught us a lot about working together. Here's what we found out: 1️⃣ Stay Focused: When we're competing, we pay more attention and try harder. This helps us do better in both the competition and our regular work. 2️⃣ Be Friends: Even though we're competing, we still support each other. Cheering for our teammates and celebrating their wins makes us feel like a stronger team. 3️⃣ Learn and Grow: Competition pushes us to do our best, even when it's tough. When we win, it feels great, but even when we don't, we learn something new that helps us get better next time. 4️⃣ Feel Good: Competing is exciting! It makes us happy and boosts our energy. That positive feeling sticks around and makes our workdays better too. 5️⃣ Work Together: Through competition, we get to know each other better. We learn what we're good at and where we can help each other, making us a stronger team overall. Overall, our team event showed us that friendly competition isn't just about winning—it's about working together, having fun, and becoming better colleagues. Hyerim, since starting at Nova in 2019, what big obstacles have you faced and what helped you overcome them? Since starting at Nova in 2019, the challenges I faced, especially those stemming from management changes, seemed daunting at first. However, these obstacles became stepping stones for personal and professional development. I cultivated self-reliance and a sense of responsibility, learning to independently manage my tasks and time. By setting goals and collaborating with my team, I improved my problem-solving skills, embodying the saying, 'Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.' Instead of dwelling on the uncontrollable, I embraced the opportunity to drive change, furthering my capabilities. Nova's support and emphasis on positive communication have been instrumental in this journey, showing me the value of empowerment through teamwork. This approach has not only enabled me to overcome challenges but has also opened doors to continuous learning and growth. Hyerim Kim, Senior Service Coordinator, panelist in Nova Korea’s Women’s Day panel
