The Alkhidmat Foundation has introduced a free laptop scheme aimed at empowering youth and fostering skill development. Under this initiative, 10,000 top-performing graduates of the BanoQabil program will receive laptops. The announcement was made during the BanoQabil 4.0 aptitude test held in Karachi, marking a significant step towards bridging the digital divide.
Speaking at the event, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman emphasized the need for a unified education system in Pakistan and underscored the transformative potential of IT-based exports for the country’s economy. His remarks highlighted the critical role of technology and education in shaping a prosperous future.
The occasion also featured prominent personalities such as renowned educationist Dr. Ishrat Hussain and celebrated actor Behroz Sabzwari, who shared inspirational messages with the students. Their presence underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in uplifting young talent.
To date, over 48,000 individuals have successfully graduated from the BanoQabil program, with many securing notable employment opportunities. This initiative continues to make a significant impact on the professional lives of young people, paving the way for a more skilled and self-reliant generation.
