There is more to consider than your final arrangements when thinking about your death. Who gets your comic book collection? Where do you want your clothes donated? There are so many small things to sort out that take away from your loved ones time to grieve. The kindest thing to do is to take time to consider these things and pick a hand full of people you trust to execute these plans for you. Give them one last chance to show their love for you.

This rule is best used on your closet 👕👟 . . This one is yet another rule coined by The Minimalists Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus - yes, the ones who have their own Netflix show. This rule asks you to consider the answer to 2 questions. . . #1 - Have you used this item in the last 90 days? #2 - Will you use this item in the next 90 days? If the answer to both of these questions is, "no", then the item should be donated or discarded. . . Technically you can apply this rule to whatever you want, but our HALO team suggests applying the 90/90 rule to your closet. Whatever you haven't worn in the last 90 days and do not anticipate wearing in the next 3 months, say goodbye to it. . . Clothing that is not ripped, stained or too worn is especially good to donate - and you have your fair share of places to choose from. Second-hand clothing is accepted into donation bins, thrift stores like Goodwill and Value Village, consignment shops and community organizations that organize clothing drives. . . Happy donating! . . #haloteamlove #9090rule #closetcleanout

Value(s) what you really care about or value doesn’t matter u less the other person/people around you Value ut as well. Story time. I took roughly $10-$15 K in clothes and bags (Loro Piana, Tumi, Ecco) most of it brand new into some shops to have them sold. The first spot took most of it and will take it to a cleaners and sell it over time but they didn’t take bags. So they sent me 1.5 miles away in Seattle- these bags together value almost 2 grand. What did they offer me? $22 😮 It just shows that what one person values, another person doesn’t. It doesn’t matter if it is material or not. Find alignment in what it is that you value and you’ll find the experiences you desire. Story update- I took the $22 and donated a couple grand worth of items today to a place that supports non profits. (Anyone who might be in the flipping business, those bags and shoes are at crossroads on broadway in Seattle) Countdown to moving to the other side of the world: 4 days

Today, we want to address the topic of social responsibility, both for businesses and their employees. In the modern world, not just the product a company produces that matters, but also its contributions to society and how it supports the communities where its employees live and work. One of our clients EASYFEET has utilized Surwise to provide their team with additional opportunities to assist those in need. Employees can use earned coins for donations and charitable contributions. This approach is both simple and effective, resulting in higher loyalty and respect for the company, as well as a profound sense of personal contribution to the world among those who donate. What opportunities does your business create for employees who are committed to helping others?

Donating your shoes can help provide hope and an opportunity for a better life to those in need. So I need your help this holiday. Please rummage through your closets and find shoes to give. Place them in your neighborhoods to help those in need this Christmas. Would you consider putting out a pair of shoes in your neighborhoods to help the homeless without any fees added? During this holiday, would your governments consider establishing committees to ensure "people without shoes" have the opportunity to get a pair for the holiday? According to available data, an estimated 300 million people globally are unable to afford shoes, highlighting the significant need for shoe donation programs to those living in poverty; this figure is often cited by organizations like you when advocating for shoe donations. So globally we all do our part at giving to what matters most. Give to the soles of our world.
