More on sentiments noticed at HIMSS in the summary tomorrow
The last few days at HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition has been exceptional! The Core Mobile team, including our CEO & Founder Chandra Shekhar Tekwani, have been listening to speakers about a number of topics related to healthcare, but the conversations about the way in which Artificial Intelligence can propel healthcare into the future and help us meet global healthcare priorities really made us think. The Global Healthcare priorities are: 1. Improving access to healthcare 2. Improving outcomes 3. Health equity 4. Climate change Robert C. Garrett Garret from Hackensack Meridian Health dove right into the subject of AI and its potential to scale healthcare delivery to meet the needs of our patients, whose numbers are likely double in the coming years. At Core Mobile, we could not agree more! Our solutions leverage AI in order to improve hospital capacity by 5% - 20% without increasing hospital staff or adding buildings - which is good for healthcare providers, patients and the environment! At the same time, Robert C. Garrett stresses that we cannot forget the importance of the human touch. Humans are at the heart of healthcare and while AI can do a lot to support the work of hospitals and healthcare providers, it cannot replace human intervention. This is why Core Mobile spends so much time at hospitals where it deploys to fit the technology to the people in a way that is most organic and aligns with the workflows already in place. At the end of the day, we agree with this quote by Atul Gawande - the work of healthcare is the work of well-being. “And well-being is about reasons one wishes to be alive.” Core Mobile handles the tech, so that providers can focus on keeping patients healthy with the human touch. #himss2024 #himss

As we are nearing the end of 2024, all of us at Philips want to thank everyone working in healthcare – all the healthcare professionals and everyone else who have worked so hard to help deliver better care for more people 💙 Each of us in the healthcare ecosystem feels a deep sense of responsibility to help ease the pressure on health systems and improve care. Reflecting on the year, AI has leaped forward in so many ways and is helping, but it has the potential to do so much more, freeing up space and time for healthcare professionals to focus on their patients. I’m excited about the potential of AI and strong partnerships to help further in 2025. What was your biggest takeaway in #healthcare this year?

Rural Healthcare Leaders on AI and Innovation: A Conversation That Deserves Attention In an era where entertainment often overshadows meaningful conversations, it’s easy to see packed rooms for celebrities while critical discussions fly under the radar. Today, I attended a panel of rural healthcare leaders, and though the crowd may not have been as large, the impact was undeniable. These leaders shared how AI and innovation are transforming healthcare in rural communities—places often overlooked by the latest tech advancements. From improving telemedicine to using AI for early diagnoses, they are tackling challenges unique to rural areas, like access to care and limited resources. The conversation highlighted a truth we can’t ignore: while the world focuses on entertainment, there are individuals driving change and ensuring that everyone, no matter where they live, has access to quality healthcare. Great Job presenting today at HLTH USA Mike Mosquito, CHCIO, MBA, PMP, CDH-E Melissa Cohen Sarah Chouinard, MD Tina Wheeler Baligh Yehia, MD, MPP, MSc I was so impressed by your level of insights into your healthcare systems and communities! #RuralHealthcare #AI #Innovation #HealthcareLeadership #HLTH2024

Two incredible days at the Digital Health Festival surrounded by a melting pot of great minds united in their mission to deliver value to clinicians and patients. It was inspiring to witness the insatiable appetite for digital solutions like artificial intelligence in healthcare, both locally and globally. While we're still in the nascent stages of AI adoption in healthcare, the excitement and hunger for innovation were palpable. However, mindful steps from all stakeholders – innovators, clinicians, patients, policymakers, and researchers – will be crucial for successful implementation. To pave the way for this digital transformation, we need more open conversations and a willingness to embrace change. So, I invite healthcare professionals to reflect on these questions: 🧑💻 What technologies have you seamlessly integrated into your practice that once seemed unimaginable? 🤔 What are the current pain points or inefficiencies in your workflow that are because “It’s just the way it is” or could they potentially be addressed by technology? By keeping an open mind and learning from past experiences, we can collectively shape the future of healthcare and unlock the full potential of digital solutions to improve patient outcomes and quality of life for all.
