MARTIN MULUNGANA's classroom, where he teaches nearly 100 Primary One students at Namayemba Primary School in Bugiri District, is a theater of individual learner vision, a place of discovery with a sense of direction aimed at assisting each learner in understanding numeracy and literacy concepts as he builds a foundation for every child to equitably and powerfully take ownership of their learning. Martin not only empowers his students through self-study support groups, but also uses TaRL inspired approaches to teach #Literacy and #Numeracy to ensure that each individual learner's needs are catered for. Such an environment has resulted in positive student learning outcomes, which are reinforced by the classroom vision and goals that he has established and pinned in his classroom. Happy Teacher's day "Teachers: The Guardians of Growth As we celebrate Teachers' Day, we recognize the profound impact educators have on our lives. In our rich cultural heritage, the guru-shishya parampara (teacher-disciple tradition) has been a cornerstone of knowledge sharing and growth. Today, we honor the teachers who continue this legacy, inspiring and nurturing future generations. We appreciate their dedication, patience, and care in helping students: - Develop a strong foundation of knowledge - Grow into compassionate and empathetic individuals - Adapt to new challenges and opportunities - Reach their full potential At Prakriti Aan Millet, we salute the teaching community for their tireless efforts in shaping minds and inspiring futures. keep learning , keep hustling #TeachersDay #ThankYouTeachers #GuruShishyaParampara #GrowthMindset #Appreciation"

The three-day workshop on the Children’s Library was very fruitful for teachers as well as for the Abako-Karunodaya Team. We changed the method of traditional training so that teachers get the maximum learning and, at the same time, make it fun for them. We learned very deeply how teachers need to be trained very effectively so that they can apply their learning in the classroom very well. “Role play was the most enjoyable activity for me. Through this we not only presented our story in an interesting way but also enjoyed others presentation too. So many different stories were presented by so many intelligent minds(members of each group). Attractive props were used and the dialogue delivery was awesome by each and every member. In fact, we had the full scope to showcase our talent and storytelling activity. So for me, Role Play was the most memorable moment.”- Rachna Mishra from Primary School Shankar Balika “I understood very well how to manage a library in the proper way and how to Read Aloud to Students. Children’s library will be very effective for children because children want to play and with this library activity they will improve their reading skills from the interesting activities of the library.” - Rekha Kumari from MS Bara Thanks to Lety Mam, who supported us throughout the three-day training and made an effective contribution to the workshop. We are very positive that the three-day workshop will make a massive impact on teachers as well as Students too. Project Digital successfully worked with 6 schools in the previous cohorts: Moi University Primary, Chepkoiya Primary, Murgor Primary, Ketiplong Primary, Lelmolok Primary and Lelmokwa Primary schools. We have been able to teach groups of students from each school. This enables us to make more impact through peer-to-peer learning in the respective schools. #projectdigitalimpactfoundation #digitalliteracy #impactstories #sdg4
