It started when i missed the join AIESEC deadline because i was caught up in faculty orientation. However, it led me to AFL and i don't regret it. I didn’t know anyone in AFL but i decided to join anyway. In highschool, i was scared whenever i’m participating in an event where i didn’t know anyone, but this time, i encouraged myself to step out of my comfort zone. As a result, my social skills improved. During AFL Induction, i met many people and had a nice conversation with them. I realized how enjoyable meeting new people can be. I made friends, connect with a wider audience, and felt comfortable in expressing myself without fear of judgement. As the AFL program started, i spoke mostly in English, which greatly improved my speaking skills. Through various events, i gained valuable knowledge from amazing speakers. It helped me answer questions like, "What am i going to do?", "What do i want to achieve?", and "How do i prepare?" Additionally, since AFL requires us to fulfill a handbook & monthly tracker, i feel like i become a more structured person, although sometimes laziness strikes when i have to fulfill it. Moreover, the coaching sessions boosted my confidence in expressing my opinions during group discussions and the knowledge I gained has been useful in real life. We had great sharing sessions with our coach, and I never expected this 3-month program to impact me so much. Of course, i couldn’t have achieved all this without the coaches and team behind AFL. It’s been a great journey and an amazing way to spend my first year of college. #AFLWinterUnpad24 #AIESECFutureLeaders AIESEC AIESEC in Indonesia

What do Volkswagen, Nasdaq, Eventbrite, and now TikTok have in common? They all have employees going through soft skills training in one form or another that conforms to the IITTI standard. The concept is that employees can earn World Civility Index "points" as proof to show their employers. Topics such as business etiquette, empathy, intercultural awareness. For a company, they can raise corporate culture and measuring it. Here is an example of Ms. Patchapicha Menming (Pat), Head of Growth Partnership, TikTok Thailand earning her seventy (70) points of World Civility Index after training and sitting for the IITTI Business 'Level 1' exam. Training done by IITTI Trainer Apailuck Tan of The New You(Apailucktan) in Bangkok, Thailand. IITTI World Civility Index is an official partner of UN Sustainable Development. #IITTI #WorldCivilityIndex #StandardizedTesting #StandardizedCredentialing #Credentialing #SoftSkillsSTandard #SoftSkills #UNSustainableDevelopmentGoals #SocialFabric #SoftSkillsTraining #ProfessionalImage #BusinessEtiquette #CorporateCommunications #DiningEtiquette #SoftSkillsStandard #CSR #ESG #ESGreporting #Sustainability #HumanCapital #DiversityEquityInclusion #DEI #Greenwashing

Thriving in the Unknown: How adaptability fueled my Creative Strategy journey! My formative years (10-13) were a masterclass in cultural immersion. Home was in Cambodia (Phnom Phen, & Battambong) & in Thailand (Chiang Mai). A British school with its self-directed learning – a stark contrast to my teacher-led background (India). Individuals and teachers from various cultures challenged me to understand as well as appreciate cultural differences. The same school also, ignited my passion for basketball (who knew a hoop was a universal language?), and fostered connections with those who now are creative powerhouses in Thailand & Poland! The 6 gulps back in time with this Katring Deang, lead to a crucial question: How can we empower young minds to thrive in a world demanding adaptability? As a creative strategist in today's time, I believe empathy and self-directed learning are one of the key cornerstones of success. Hope to continue to cultivating confident, culturally-aware individuals who can navigate complexity with kindness. Now, can we have volunteers to share a story of overcoming a cultural barrier and the creative solution it sparked. Tagging you all below, because I believe you all bring great learnings to the table, that lot many of us can learn from & certainly not to waste any of your valuable time. Roma M. Abhijat Bharadwaj Faizan Babi Sabiha NS Khan Let's challenge the status quo! #multicultural #creativestrategy #selfdirectedlearning #KratingDaeng #learnings #content Kratingdaeng Red Bull

Hello everyone!! Let me introduce myself, I am Dafiq Pasha Haryanto from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Communication Science Undergraduate Program, UPN Veteran Jakarta. The first day of mentoring from group 27 went with enthusiasm and fun. As the saying goes, ‘If you don’t know, you won’t love’, this first mentoring began with introducing yourself to each other. Kak Deka as a mentor made this activity very exciting and not awkward at all. Not only introducing yourself, kak Deka also introduced us, his mentees to the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta. In addition, we also got a lot of information about the National Development University Veteran Jakarta. From campus life and others explained in this first mentoring. There were also new students who asked things related to the first mentoring to kak Deka, kak Deka answered each question enthusiastically. The enthusiasm given by the other new students made me even more excited. After several materials, we were briefed for the materials that would be explained and carried out in the next mentoring, such as dividing the division of group tasks and playing games. The first mentoring ended so pleasantly, that it made me impatient for the second mentoring. The second day of mentoring began with Kak Deka holding games. The participants who took part in the mentoring were very enthusiastic when taking part in the games. After the games were finished, Kak Deka asked for an update on the group assignments that had been given on the first day of mentoring. After this activity, Kak Deka gave some materials, such as how to adjust academically, build social relationships, and important tips. Several ways were given for adjusting academically, namely the first was to manage time. The second was to choose the right learning technique. The third was to participate in class and build relationships with lecturers. The last was to create good personal branding. In addition, we were also given a lot of important information. We were even given information about affordable places to eat around campus. The second day of mentoring ended very excitingly.
