The similarities of working on Earth and in space outweigh the differences. Many of the Lessons Learned in Space™ are easily applied to common work issues. For starters, humans are humans, regardless of the industry they support. Second, the nuts, bolts, wires, components and even the basic materials used to manufacture goods don’t vary much among industries. Third, aside from the hazards of working in the vacuum of low-earth orbit and the vehicle used to get to and from space, when it comes to organizational execution, achieving human spaceflight and running terrestrial industries are similar. Perhaps the most valuable lesson NASA teaches is that "failure is not an option." Work the problem. Don't let the problem work you. Stay focused, flexible and optimistic until you succeed. #Teamwork #ProblemSolving #Space #NASA #LessonsLearned
