🥁 2 days post Businessplan-Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg (BPW) 🥁
Let's get it out of the way: We did not win, sorry, fans! Thanks for all the support though, especially everyone who came to the event just for Henrietta! You guys are just ❤️
Congrats to the winners of both the main prize and the audience prize (I honestly don't think anyone could have competed with that winning pitch, so chapeau!).
The good news for me and Henrietta though: We ranked 6th in total! Out of more than 150 entries 🤯 I tend to sweep accomplishments like this under the rug but I think it is time to take a step back and look at this result as it is. This was my first business plan I ever wrote. It is a strange feeling to publicly say that I am proud of something I achieved but I am. Is this a female thing?
And of course it wouldn't be a proper LinkedIn Post without the key learnings, so I also have one for you:
A business plan is hard work but once I had it, it made so much sense to do it. Sounds like a no brainer but sometimes we need to say the most obvious things or even write them down - like you have to with your business idea in a business plan. Many of the things I wrote down felt like "d'uh" moments because it was all in my head, not really cohesive but it was there. Consequently, it was really important to see them all written down in a structured form. It made me feel much safer with my idea and the execution. Also, I was able to incorporate so many bits and pieces that came to me which led to a well rounded strategy.
So I will definitely continue with the plan for the next phase in may and incorporate the feedback I was given. Can't wait to learn more about how to best work on Henrietta!

Vinesh Phogat: A Champion Betrayed
Vinesh Phogat is not just an athlete; she’s a symbol of resilience. Two ACL surgeries, Olympic heartbreaks, brutal weight cuts, and an unwavering fight for women's rights have defined her journey. Yet, she was cruelly denied her chance to shine on the biggest stage.
Disqualified for allegedly missing weight, mere hours after a grueling match, is a blatant disregard for the complexities of the female body. The absurd measures her team resorted to – from sleepless nights to desperate hair cuts – expose the archaic rules that govern women's sports.
This isn't about weight; it's about understanding the biological realities of women. Post-match inflammation, hormonal fluctuations, and the stress of competition are factors ignored at our peril. We demand standards that respect the 28-day cycle that defines women's lives, not the arbitrary 24-hour clock that governs men's world.
From workplaces to warzones, the male body is the standard. It's time to change that. Vinesh's disqualification is more than a personal tragedy; it's a collective failure.
It's a stark reminder that we still live in a world that doesn't see women as equals.

You are our champion, Vinesh. 🇮🇳
It is disheartening to witness this setback, especially when you came so close to achieving success. While this experience is painful, you have always demonstrated exceptional resilience, which only shows that you will continue to challenge the odds and emerge even stronger.
The entire nation is proud and stands with you, Vinesh Phogat! 👍🏼
