🧐What does it mean to go 'from theory to practice'? and what are the implications of understanding #TrustInScience as multi-faceted? 🙌 We discussed this and much more in #Bruxelles and renewed our committment to improving warranted trust in science, research and innovation! Find out about the outcomes of our consortium meeting 👇 https://lnkd.in/dFaqJjr3
📅 Our third on-site consortium meeting is taking place April 23-34th in Brussels! 💫 With the IANUS project approaching its concluding year, the event will ensure coherence between the conceptual analysis of trust and distrust developed during IANUS' earlier phases and the ‘action research’ to be conducted in the following months. 🔬 Hosted by our partner Dr Steffi Friedrichs, founder & director of AcumenIST, experts and representatives from IANUS’ partner organizations will gather in the beautiful administrative centre of the European Union. 🌟 Our General Assembly will be a chance for partners to pave the way to the final months of IANUS and to reflect on the impact of the project’s overall journey and mission to understand how to gain, maintain and lose public confidence in science, technology and innovation. 👇 Discover more about IANUS' upcoming events and steps here: https://lnkd.in/d6HjRp46

More than just a professor, Willy has been there, done it! Took the reins of his father’s business at a young age, started, scaled and sold several billion $ businesses. He is someone who any business leader, running any sized business can learn a lot from. His insights are priceless and could stimulate a pivot, new idea, etc worth millions. The sessions coming up are not just for small businesses, middle market businesses with established revenue streams and solid client bases can certainly harvest value from his organized sessions. All upside here, IMHPO.

Earlier this week, our CEO, Ezechi Britton MBE, attended the Science and Innovation Banquet at Mansion House, organised by the City of London Corporation. The event was more than just a gathering; it was a celebration of the incredible advancements and collaborative efforts in science and technology that are driving our future forward. As we reflect on the event, several critical themes and discussions stand out: 🔹The event showcased UK’s strengths and the collaborative spirit that drives us to excel on the world stage. It was a powerful reminder of CFIT’s commitment to expanding our influence in these critical fields. 🔹The partnership between Government, private sector, and academia was a focal point of the discussions. The importance of these collaborations in fostering a robust innovation ecosystem is key. 🔹 The future of innovation depends on a skilled and educated workforce. There were compelling discussions on how we can further invest in education and training to support the next generation of scientists and innovators. The event was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do at CFIT – to support and drive innovation that benefits everyone. #OpenFinance https://lnkd.in/eaFPJ7Xc
