I avoid uneven traffic splits (e.g. 80/20) when A/B Testing and should probably do the same. Unless you are highly experienced with this method, an uneven distribution of traffic can introduce unwanted effects in your analysis and increase the likelihood of unreliable results. Simply put, it overcomplicates a method that is already complex by nature. Sticking to a balanced distribution of traffic allows for a clearer comparison between variants and enables one of the most reliable mechanisms to ensure data accuracy: SRM (sample ratio mismatch) checks. But, what if the business needs dictate that you can expose, let's say, only 20% of the total traffic to a new variant? In such a scenario, it's a better idea to have a 40% total traffic allocation, split evenly. It will effectively achieve the same result (in terms of exposure to a variant) while ensuring more trustworthy numbers are analyzed.

In the modern world, there are many freight exchanges in different countries. But just as in any niche, there is a leader in logistics. And this leader is DAT (USA)! DAT (Dial-A-Truck) is one of the largest digital platforms in the world in the field of freight transportation. It connects shippers and carriers, providing a digital platform for effective interaction. What makes DAT the largest digital platform? more than 258 million loads per year 110 thousand connected carriers 1 million loads on the platform daily In addition to freight search and transport selection services, DAT also provides an extensive freight data analytics service, which is the largest in North America (this is not very surprising with such huge amounts of data!). They also provide rate forecasts for transportation routes with an accuracy of 95%.

📊 Importance of Continuous Actualization Every month, the number of partners and connected suppliers grows at A3. New products are released. The metrics are increasing, and new ones are emerging. All this data requires constant actualization. We regularly update presentations for our partners and investors. Metrics change, and it's important for the data to correspond to reality. Updates take place twice a year: 🔹 After the New Year: more comprehensive, due to the snapshot and planning; 🔹 In June-July at the end of two quarters. In addition to metrics, the business model is also updated. We project it five years forward and three years back. We comprehensively revise it once a year. #a3paymentservice #results #motivation #development #report
