You are not alone! This statement is one of the most powerful experiences you can share with anyone. It is a feeling that’s powerful beyond - Everything is going to be alright. While you are giving someone hope by saying the above, they certainly are not in the mental or emotional state to receive it in the present moment. But the moment we express shared experiences with someone who feels unloved, unwanted, unclear, unsure, uncomfortable and under privileged; they feel much calmer and develop a sense of security within themselves the moment they realise they are not alone in this journey of CHAOS. This is the highest form of EMPATHY that instantly begins the process of HEALING. We all have this innate power to contribute and kick start one’s healing journey by simply reminding them everyday that they are not alone, and you are here to support them in their holistic development journey if they are willing to take the baby steps forward. Let this be your dominant affirmative vibration at home, work and society from now on. And do tell yourself the exact narrative that YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. Fear. It’s real. Even when there is no danger, fear can influence our thoughts and our feelings. It shapes our behaviour. Fear. A False Emotion Appearing Real (as one of my teachers Pauline Nguyen once shared), can present differently for different people. So, soften your heart and connect with compassion. Try to connect with what you can't outwardly see in others (and yourself). Try to see beyond the surface and appreciate the unseen battles that everyone is facing. When we see through a lens of compassion, we’re more likely to create genuine emotional connections – which is what we are neurologically designed for. A little kindness can go a long way. #compassion #mentalhealth #selfalignment #connection

Yes, we often cry or get upset over small things, but when we see the pain and struggles of others, we realize how small our problems really are. This is a natural human response, as our #emotions and feelings are very complex. When we face a minor issue, it can feel very significant, but listening to the stories of others provides perspective. It helps us understand that everyone has their own struggles and we shouldn’t take our problems too seriously. This is a good way to develop empathy and gratitude. Therefore, it’s natural to react to small things, but hearing the stories of others awakens a greater sense of understanding and compassion within us. #Empathy #Perspective #Gratitude #HumanExperience #StrugglesAndStrength #Compassion #LifeLessons #EmotionalAwareness #MentalHealth #OvercomingChallenges

A Lesson in Human Connection Life has a funny way of teaching us valuable lessons. One of the most important is that not everyone sees the world as we do. Embrace Differences: Understand that people express love and care in different ways. Protect Your Heart: Don't let others' lack of empathy drain you. Your Worth is Unwavering: Your value isn't determined by others' actions. Remember, it's okay to set boundaries and prioritize your own well-being. #selflove #mentalhealth #relationships #personalgrowth #empathy

When we establish clear boundaries and communicate our needs respectfully, we create a healthier dynamic in our relationships. Feel What You Feel - No Justifications Needed We all have different levels of sensitivity, and that's perfectly okay. Sometimes people say we’re overreacting, but what they don’t understand is that every feeling is real. If something hurts, it hurts. No explanation or justification is needed for our emotions. Your experiences, your reactions, and your feelings are valid. Don't let anyone make you feel small or dismissive for what you feel. Let’s create a space where we can be real and honest with ourselves. Remember, sensitivity isn’t weakness; it’s a strength. What's a moment when you felt your emotions were misunderstood? Drop it in the comments! Let’s open up and support each other. . . According to psychology, kindness can be described as a “benevolent and helpful action intentionally directed toward another person.” It can also be associated with altruism which means doing something that benefits others even at one’s cost. Kindness, no matter how big or small, can go a long way. There are a handful of psychological studies on kindness and its effects on people. General findings suggest that performing acts of kindness can positively affect our physical and mental well-being and even reduce social anxiety. Furthermore, acting kindly can also be contagious. Studies have found that when we receive kindness or witness other people show kindness, we are more likely to do the same or “pay it forward.” Kindness isn’t just a type of energy you get from someone – it’s all about their actions. Kind people are always ready to lend a hand whenever someone needs it. It doesn’t matter if they’re a close friend or a stranger. Kind people will go the extra mile for anyone. Doing an act of kindness can be extremely rewarding. Big or small, it can have an impact and even change someone’s life. So the next time a friend asks for a helping hand, you know what to do! #kindness #mentalwellbeing #altruism

In a recent inner child call I facilitated, we discussed the idea of being “too emotional” and how often that feedback says more about others than it does about you. There’s nothing inherently wrong with expressing your emotions—whether it’s sadness, joy, or frustration. Sometimes, those of us who are more sensitive or empathetic are simply in tune with the world around us in a way that others aren’t. You could be a highly sensitive person or an empath, picking up on the emotions of others, sometimes even feeling their unresolved grief or sadness. When people project their discomfort onto you, it’s because they see you as a mirror for their own unprocessed feelings. What’s needed in those moments is clear energetic, emotional, and relational boundaries. It’s not about suppressing your emotions, but about protecting your energy and recognizing that their discomfort isn’t your burden to carry. Have you ever been called “too emotional”? How did you navigate it? 👇🏽 #innerchildhealing #emotionalboundaries #empath #stefanossifandos

We are all so selfish! We only think about ourselves. Yes, that's the reality for each one of us.😐 We prioritise ourselves more than anyone else until the person of our dreams comes into our lives. Haha! 😅 Don't laugh! It's true that we often don't give much importance to everyone. But then, why do we pretend that we really care? It's just to make ourselves feel good!!! 😌 The problem with all of us is that we often don't listen to people easily and even when we do, we listen only to reply back, not to understand. The day we try to change ourselves and take some efforts to become true human beings with feelings and sentiments, we will be able to bring smiles to the faces of people who are suffering. ✨✨ PS: What's your perception of this?
