Today I can say I conquered my imposter and ... I hardly think of it anymore. But back in 2017, that sneaky imposter almost talked me out of one of the BEST business experiences of my life. Here’s the quick story: I had a VIP ticket to a conference in New York, but I felt like I didn’t belong there. I almost gave that ticket away to a friend for FREE. Can you believe it? Luckily, my friend said no. So, I made a decision—I was getting on that plane, going to this conference, and meeting Kim Coles (yes, from Living Single). As a VIP, we got to have lunch with the speakers, and guess what? Kim Coles ended up sitting right next to me! We started chatting, and something clicked. In that moment, I realized there is no space where I don’t belong. It doesn’t matter how much money I have or how “important” people think I am. I BELONG. That was the day I started conquering my imposter syndrome. 🎉 A few years later, I created a course called Business Anxiety Breakthrough to help entrepreneurs stuck in fear launch and grow their online service-based businesses. We covered: 👉 Sales Anxiety 👉 Social Media Anxiety 👉 Networking Anxiety 👉 Burnout Anxiety But you know what I didn’t include? The one thing that always comes up: Imposter Syndrome. If you let that imposter stick around, it’s going to sabotage EVERYTHING you dream of doing. Period. The feelings are real, the imposter is not. So, what are you ready and willing to do about it? It’s time to kick that imposter to the curb. 🚪💨Consider this notice. It’s time to shine. Hey I'm Seneca Williams "Entrepreneur Therapist" and I want to help you hashtag #conquertheimposter. The Realities of Building a Business (And How I Almost Lost Myself) 🤦🏻♂️ Building a business has been tough, and somewhere along the way, I lost sight of the things that truly matter—my physical health, mental clarity, and energy. I got stuck in the weeds, giving myself excuses and neglecting what kept me strong. The result? Mental fatigue and extra weight. But here’s the turning point: I realised that I can’t control outcomes, but I can control the actions and behaviors I show up with every day. So, yesterday marked Day 1 of getting back on track. Lessons Learned: 1. Control the Actions, Not the Outcome. I can’t predict everything, but I can control my efforts. 2. Small Wins Add Up. Little changes lead to big shifts. Wins from Day 1: • Meal Prepped: No more last-minute unhealthy choices. • Booked a Client Meeting: Taking action in my business. • Mental Clarity: I felt amazing after just one day. Moving Forward: I’ve built a simple framework to check in on my physical, mental, and business health daily. What actions are you taking to see the year out on strong? #EntrepreneurLife #MentalHealth #BusinessJourney

You know you need to be active on social media, but it feels so draining. The pressure to stay relevant, post consistently, and engage tirelessly - it’s overwhelming. What do you do when that pressure builds up? You procrastinate or skip posting entirely. But behind that procrastination lies something deeper... It’s not just about putting off a task. It’s about the exhaustion that comes with it. You feel stuck, guilty, and maybe even a little resentful. Meanwhile, others in your industry seem to be effortlessly active, making you question your own abilities. Here’s the thing: social media is a powerful tool, but it’s also a demanding one. And when you’re trying to follow strategies that don’t align with your reality, like juggling a business solo, balancing family life, or simply having different priorities, it’s easy to burn out. Ask yourself, why are you really feeling this way? Is it because you’re trying to meet expectations that don’t fit your life? or Is it because the joy of creating has been replaced by the fear of falling behind? These feelings are valid, and they’re a sign that something needs to change. Instead of forcing yourself into a one-size-fits-all strategy, consider focusing on what truly matters to you. Be intentional with your efforts. Challenge the "musts" and "shoulds" that might be driving your burnout. Ask yourself if they’re truly necessary, or if there’s a way to approach your social media presence that feels more sustainable and authentic. Being a business owner is tough enough. Don’t let social media add to your stress. It’s okay to step back, reassess, and take care of yourself. Have you ever felt this way? How did you navigate through it? I’d love to hear your story in the comments below. #SocialMediaBurnout #EntrepreneurLife #MentalHealth #BusinessOwner #SocialMediaStrategy #SelfCare #EntrepreneurStruggles #StressManagement #Burnout

Social anxiety can ruin not only your personal life but also your professional growth. It is an irrational fear of being judged, humiliated, or feeling embarrassed while around people. During a coaching call, a mentee mentioned feeling quite anxious about going back to the office—a common scenario for many, including myself, after the pandemic ended. My Suggestions 1. One-on-One Meetups Meet up with a friend for coffee or shopping.☕️ Group Activities Gather a group of close friends for a movie, trip, or some shared activity.🚗 2. Attend Meetups Interact with new people and make small talk at various meetups.👭🏻 By engaging in these activities, you can slowly build resilience and get comfortable being around people and having conversations. 3. When to Seek Help For a small number of people, social anxiety can be quite chronic. In such cases, medical intervention may be necessary. When in doubt, always seek the help of a qualified medical professional. #burnout #stress #anxiety #worklifebalance #burnoutcoach #LIPostingChallengeIndia

Feeling the year-end pressure and seasonal blues? You're not alone. Phyllis refuses to help me with anything on this rainy day at Doubledare HQ in Omaha, NE. 🤷♂️ Good thing she's cute! Fighting burnout and seasonal depression STARTS with a few simple steps: ❌ 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 "𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴" 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀. First, technology blurred work-hour boundaries. Now that we can respond to work emails and requests anytime from anywhere, the line between work and home has disappeared for many. 🚫 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱. Don't go to holiday parties you'd rather skip. Pass on projects that others can handle. Give yourself grace in this moment, and pass on "obligations" that won't matter a month from now. ⛔️ 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, whether you're already fried, burning out, or searching for an escape hatch. 🗣️ 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. Admission of feeling overwhelmed or burned out is a sign of strength. Chances are you'll find many of your peers, from the C-level to the frontline, share your same feelings. 👋 Bid ADEOS™ (𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦, 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥) to tasks you can hire or give to others to do faster, cheaper, and better.
