For example, a new social media app may be quick to build, but there’s no guarantee people will adopt it. On the other hand, 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 involves innovations that require scientific breakthroughs and complex engineering. These technologies, like 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, are often solving critical problems in areas such as healthcare, sustainability, and energy. For example, synthetic biology can engineer organisms to produce medicines, create sustainable materials, or even store data in DNA! The challenge with Deep Tech?
