𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 October is such a busy month for sponsors because there are so many events happening. While it's not the only busy month for sponsors, it's certainly one that keeps them juggling multiple commitments. I've had people ask me, "What's the best time to host an event?" Honestly, I was perplexed at first because events are happening all year round. Then I realized that some months are busier for sponsors than others. Those peak months tend to be: ⬝April ⬝June ⬝August ⬝October ⬝November ⬝December In particular, October is a month packed with fundraising galas. My theory? People choose October because it doesn't interfere with Giving Tuesday campaigns, Thanksgiving food drives, holiday events (like Winter Wonderland), or end-of-year giving pushes. This is my observation - I'd love to hear if it matches your experience. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐩: When planning your next event, consider choosing a month that isn't overpopulated with competing events. This strategy can help ensure sponsors don't have to choose between supporting you or someone else. Timing your event strategically might just give you the edge to secure those crucial sponsorships and make your event stand out. What's your experience with event timing? Have you noticed similar patterns? Let's discuss! #EventPlanning #Sponsorship #NonprofitStrategy #FundraisingTips
