Finally starting the journey to be the person I want to be , the person I dream of becoming by starting with attending an orientation at my university

Another adventure in storytelling goes out into the world. A while back we shared the individual stories of our new University of Limerick #StayCurious ambassadors. Today, we see them as the various threads of one inspiring message. I *loved* working on this series with Eleanor McCormack Niamh Browne Sharon Kelly Lucy Johnson Sarah Blake and our fab partners Shane Serrano and his amazing team at CRUDE. There were a million lessons to be learned from each SC champion, but if I had to pick one thing that's stayed with me from each since we filmed, it's this: 💚 Make some room for yourself in your own life. Hannah Wrixon 🎓 FAIBF is a walking, talking role model for those of us in the 'struggle to juggle' phase of life. The importance of taking some time to do what fills your cup or gets you closer to a goal is too big to let slide. 💚 The power of education as the first step of integration. Mostafa Darwish's incredible backstory brings home just how much it means when we step up and follow the path that chooses us. 💚 If the role you were made for doesn't exist... make it. Alison S. had a calling and a vision, and made it a reality - working with others to create a team that makes a difference in what can be the darkest moments. 💚 Anyone can change the world. Especially if you have the vision, the motivation and the belief in the mission that Joseph Mooney brings to everything he does. Imagine what we could all achieve, if we choose to Stay Curious. ✨

This is a very good way to develop interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking skills.

Tonight at 11:30pm Central Time, I wrapped up an incredibly thought-provoking 2.5-hour Zoom class with my students at Golden Gate University. We explored the underlying drivers of motivation in the workplace—a topic that always sparks rich discussion. As a person who usually winds down by 9:00pm, teaching a class from 9:00 to 11:30pm is a unique and rewarding experience for me. I am very motivated and engaged at GGU. I am thrilled to teach working professionals whose supervisory and management experiences bring profound insights into our discussions. The interplay of lecture and dialogue, shaped by student contributions, creates a dynamic learning environment. My 8-minute mini-lectures are designed to be strengthened by the applied knowledge my students share, fostering a culture of mutual learning. What drives me are the people we serve—80% military and a diverse group of working professionals across all levels of management and leadership. While many universities focus on adult degree programs, I appreciate GGU's deep commitment to cultivating connections and a sense of belonging among students and faculty. At GGU, earning a degree is more than just obtaining a piece of paper; it is about building meaningful relationships with dedicated faculty members. In an era where some universities prioritize enrolling large numbers of students, GGU stands out by focusing on the value of individual relationships and the care we provide as adjunct faculty. This personalized approach taught by experts in their field is what makes GGU truly special. These are my thoughts at just shy of midnight. While I have significant time available for an 8 am to 5 pm traditional role, I just might roll in a little late on Thursday mornings to capture enough shut eye. https://ggu.edu/
