🚀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 🚀 "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘁." - 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝘆 This quote by Alan Kay perfectly encapsulates the essence of product management for me. As product managers, we're not just stewards of existing products, we're architects of the future. We don't wait for trends to emerge, we identify them, translate them into solutions, and iterate until we've crafted something truly innovative. It's about taking a deep dive into user needs, leveraging data and insights, and then pushing boundaries to create experiences that delight users and shape how they interact with the world. 🚀 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 🚀 In the world of product management, two pillars hold up the grand edifice of successful feature planning: 🔍 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 Think of Product Vision as the destination on a road trip. It's the big dream, the ultimate goal, the "𝐖𝐡𝐲" behind our product's existence. 𝑰𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔: 🌟 What do we aspire to achieve? 💡 Why does this product matter? 🗺️ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 Now, imagine Product Strategy as the roadmap guiding us to that destination. It's all about the "𝐇𝐨𝐰" - detailing the routes, stops, and challenges on our journey. 𝑰𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔: 🛤️ How do we reach our vision? 🧩 What paths do we take? 🚧 How do we overcome obstacles? Together, these elements create a cohesive and compelling narrative for your product's journey. 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓: 💡 Vision = "What" + "Why" 🗺️ Strategy = "How" #ProductManagement #ProductVision #ProductStrategy #productmanager #product

🌟 Thoughts of a Product Manager: Unlocking Insights Through "Why" 🌟 In product management, asking "why" is a powerful mindset. Questions sparked, debate is an art, Insight is what we seek even when minds are apart, We may walk unsettled, yet smart. In product management, the path to discovering the optimal solution is often marked by collaborative exploration. This invites us to question our assumptions and embrace viewpoints, especially those that don’t align with ours. Consider the decision around prioritizing speed to market versus seeking perfection in the product. On one hand, launching quickly could capture market share and provide valuable user feedback. On the other, taking the time to perfect a product can lead to a superior user experience and long-term success. Hence, we align on an MLP (minimum lovable product) and define what that means towards an optimal outcome. Engaging in thoughtful debate is the cornerstone of impactful product management. But, it's equally important to know when to disagree and commit. Don’t shy away from debate - It’s better to debate a question even if we don’t settle it then, than to settle a question without debating it. However, also recognize when it's time to move forward. #productmanagement
