FIRST TIME ON THE BOARD - First Physical Meeting with the Team. - - After our official onboarding, I looked forward to my official duties. I was so eager and excited to begin work, so when the time came for the team to meet physically, I was very excited. 😄 (Nervous too, but excited nonetheless!) We got to intros, and at first glance, I knew I was in for a ride. Everyone was so chill, yet serious. I loved it! As much as we were all skilled in our individual fields, there was also an air of acceptance and respect for each other and our specific assignments. We got to discussing plans for the event; potential sponsors, partners, venue options, and some others. After that meeting, my excitement doubled. I loved my teammates (still do!🤭), and I knew I would enjoy working with them. I remember feeling so warm and fuzzy inside on my way back to the hostel. It felt nice to be part of something that seemed bigger than my whole self. Self-doubt where?? The attached picture was taken at that meeting. It's been a long time coming indeed. P.s I still can't explain how I was convinced to be at the forefront of this photo. 😂 The moral of the story, as perfectly stated by Violet Okosun is: "It is vital to recognize the ideas and passions that drive you forward. They're your unique fuel for success." Recognizing Our Co-Licensee: Isaac Ogieva You were an amazing team member and leader. Thank you for all you did for the team and all the efforts you put in towards the success of the event. To greater feats. 🥂 Next part drops tomorrow.🤎 #postevent #InspiredToStart #START #Channeltheenergywithin #TEDxUniversityofBenin2024 #TEDxUniversityofBenin #TEDx #TED #contentwriter #contentcreator

I had a great chat with ADWEEK for their "Resume Rewind" series. I normally don't get so personal with these chats but we dove into... ➡ My very early days working in sports marketing as a pimple faced kid, nervously standing with titans like Derek Jeter, Jonathan Vilma, David Ortiz and more (sometimes in their apartments) ➡ How important mentors are in a career, and how you can't always count on them finding you ➡ The unconventional career I've had, studying finance and economics, dabbling in investment banking, and doing a combination of finance, sales and marketing work. One of the biggest lessons I've learned in my career is the value of being curious and open to opportunities. Not everyone takes a linear path. I've also given up on making 5, 3 or even 1 year predictions about where I will be... I'm always wrong 😆 Check out the interview 👉 https://lnkd.in/gkDJ_hjZ #adweek #resumerewind #careerlessons

The intern who fetches your coffee might be your company’s secret weapon. Louis Monoyudis, CMO at Bokksu, knows that game-changing insights can come from anyone on the team, from the new graduate to the veteran C-suiter. But too often, those junior voices get drowned out or straight-up ignored. Louis is adamant that everyone get a seat at the table. Encourage brainstorming from all levels. Assume that everyone, from the new hire to the veteran, is here because they give a damn. Here's the thing: people are unique. They approach problems differently, work differently, and need different types of support. And that's not a bug, it's a feature. Embrace it. So next time you're looking for that lightning bolt of inspiration, don't just look up the org chart. Look around. Your next big idea might be coming from the cubicle next door. Catch Louis on the latest episode of How The F**k Did You Get That Job, now live at openfortunemagazine.com

2023 was a big growth year for me, both personally and professionally! As a professional, I'm grateful for Arity's support. One piece of advice for those looking to grow within your current role: share the journey you're on with your colleagues. When you share your goals and desires, you get more support, but you may also get different things to work on. #careergrowth #teamwork #learninganddevelopment
March is #DevelopmentMonth at Arity! One of our favorite parts of the month is sharing stories of how employees worked towards or achieved a development goal. Check out this week’s spotlight, Stacy Silver from our Marketing team 🏆 Last year, Stacy took her learning and development plan to a new level with goals to build self-confidence, focus on emotional regulation, and become more strategic in her work. With these goals in mind, she teamed up with a mentor, delved into various resources, and put new tricks and tools to the test in real life. While these steps have already made a significant difference in how she works with and leads others, Stacy is on a mission to continue growing to have an even bigger impact in her career.
