“The key task then is to lead ourselves, and those around us, through the uncertainty to the possibility hidden on the other side. Fortunately, there are many tools to do this. The oldest tool of all might be that employed by Joan of Arc, and that is the story of what is possible. It sounds simple, but neuroscience confirms that stories cause our brains to sync and couple. Indeed, story may be our oldest technology—the ability to piece together events and imagine a future that could be. We can use such stories of what is possible, despite what the situation, to rally ourselves and those around us.” #Storytelling #ChangeManagement

Interesting perspectives. However, I believe no matter how "romantic" this presentation might be to entice the African countries, we must admit that there's need to do more by the African citizens and African leaders. The level of poverty amidst vast natural and human resources is unconscionable and exacerbating. It's an invitation to calamity and continuous deception when we do not admit that we have problems and there's need to do better with and by ourselves just because there's a statistic that proved Africa is a minute part of the World's population regarding poor people. In contrast, it's a call to action for Africans and our leaders to realized that our population, therefore, shouldn't be an excuse. We should do better with our economic and human assets.
LET US HELP OUR PEOPLE IN AFRICA, WE CAN START BY REMOVING THE RACIST NATIONS OF AFRICA FROM THIS EQUATION. Those who think they are more European or Asia than other Black Africans. Let us have a meeting of smart, intelligent, inside and outside THE BOX thinkers. Join the African Small Business Group Leadership Panel on LinkedlIn. Our US Presidents assume the CEO or Chief Executive of our nation. By definition this makes our President a leader (if not the top leader) of our nation the United States of America. What have presidents said or done regarding leadership. How about Millard Fillmore, the thirteenth US President, what did he say or do that give us examples of leadership ? Let's take a look. https://lnkd.in/empHzibP

Pilgrim. But contact me if you have any organisational problem I could help solve.
3wA bit off topic, but ask him about UBI. I did a few years ago pre-election because I valued his opinion. But he wouldn't indicate any thoughts about it. I presume because he wanted to be politically neutral which turned out to be a bit ironic in the circumstances. He did however block me on LI when I made a joke about some covid information he posted that showed the lockdowns extended longevity in NZ.
