🦃 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 🍂 When I think about Thanksgiving, I picture a table filled with laughter, mismatched dishes, and the people I’m grateful to share my life with. But I also feel a tension. The version of Thanksgiving we’ve been told? It’s not the full story. History is often rewritten by those in power, and unless you’re Indigenous, none of us can truly call ourselves native to this land. But what I do love about Thanksgiving is what it can represent: a moment to pause. A chance to look around and appreciate what’s here—the people who matter, the little things we often overlook, and yes, maybe even the pie. Unlike other holidays, Thanksgiving isn’t tangled up in commercialism or big traditions. It’s simple. And it reminds me that gratitude isn’t just for one day. What if we made it part of our everyday? What if we chose to see the good, even in the mess? This year, I’m focusing on that. Gratitude for the people in my life, the lessons I’ve learned, and the space to reflect on what matters most. --- So here’s my question for you: 👉 What’s one moment or person you’re especially grateful for this year? Let’s make gratitude something we share—today and every day. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude

In a few days, loved ones of all ages will gather to be grateful! As you prepare for your Thanksgiving celebration, consider these ideas to get the different generations in your family connecting: 1. Merge the kids’ and adults’ tables. Don’t segment seating by age, instead mix generations and see what happens. Whether a grandparent shares a pearl of wisdom or a teen captures the meal on SnapChat, everyone can learn from each other! 2. Ask questions and share stories. Research shows that stories sync the brains of the storyteller and the listener. What a great way to transfer knowledge, wisdom, and legacy with those you love! Here are some conversation sparkers: · What was Thanksgiving like when you were growing up? · What is your favorite holiday memory or tradition? · Who or what are you thankful for in your life now? · Here is a special story about our family… · The quality I most appreciate about you is… 3. Do an activity together. Whether taking a walk, playing a game, or cooking together- sharing experiences creates connections and memories that can last a lifetime. Our hope is that this Thanksgiving you and yours will gain perspective of the past and the present… and strengthen generational connections for years to come. Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for you, Dr. K + J

Taking time off is essential—not only to recharge and stay effective in the workplace 💼 but also as a reminder to appreciate the people who support us on our professional journeys. I'm deeply grateful to have had the last few days to reflect, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy the holiday season 🍂. It's easy to get caught up in the professional demands of the present and past, but moments like these, coupled with a little mandatory time off (thank you, Matthew Wade & Aionios LLC!), provide an opportunity to pause and recognize what truly matters: the people, the connections 🤝, and the balance we strive for every day ⚖️. Our work is important. It fuels us financially, personally, and sometimes even creatively. But balance is key. With the right approach, we can nurture both our personal and professional lives—and yes, we really can have our cake and eat it too. Here's to gratitude, balance, and making time for what matters most 🌟. #Family #WorkLifeBalance #Hiring #Grateful #Opportunities

As we dive back in, we’re carrying this spirit of gratitude with us, inspired to help others find the relationships and roles that truly enrich their lives.
