As recently announced, we have executed the final validation of the ‘Auto Landing’ automation package on board of the Rem Energy, of which we have some amazing footage! Of course, we have not only recorded the auto landing process for you, but the entire autonomous gangway operation. As you can see in the footage below, you can accomplish the operation by just a few button presses: ➊    𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 automatically moving the gangway from its boom rest to the retracted outboard position ➋    𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: ⓐ    𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 automatically aligning the gangway by target recognition ⓑ    𝑨𝒖𝒕𝒐 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕 automatically extending the telescope movement to connect with the target point ➌    𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 automatically returning to standby position (or boom rest, when preferred) These major automation innovations make gangway operations easier, faster, and above all, safer!
