A significant advancement in educational opportunities at GHS Hunasemaranahalli School in Bangalore, Karnataka. Thanks to the invaluable support from Concern India Foundation’s CSR initiatives in the education sector, we have successfully established a mini science center that aims to revolutionize how students engage with science. . The mini science center serves as a vibrant hub for interactive learning, where students can immerse themselves in hands-on experiments and real-world applications of scientific concepts. Recently, our enthusiastic teachers demonstrated the functionality of an electric bell, providing a fascinating glimpse into the principles of electricity. This type of experiential learning not only captivates students’ attention but also ignites their passion for inquiry and exploration. . Through this initiative, we aim to break away from traditional rote learning methods and encourage students to think critically and creatively. By providing a space that fosters experimentation, we are enabling them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical skills, ultimately preparing them for future challenges. . The collaboration with Concern India has been a game changer for our school community. Their commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure empowers us to create environments where students can thrive. I am grateful for the partnership that has made this project possible and excited to see how it will positively impact our students’ educational journeys. . https://lnkd.in/dK4KcmJb . . . #education #stem #handsonlearning #sciencecenter #innovativeteaching #criticalthinking #electricity #studentengagement #csr #bangalore #learningthroughplay #curiosity #scienceeducation #futureinnovators #csrindia #csreducationprograms #corporatesocialresponsibility #socialresponsibility #corporateresponsibility #csrinitiatives #csractivities #stemlearning

According to "The Present Status of India’s Education System: A Critical Analysis (2024)," India has 1,353,345 schools operationally active. However, despite this progress, challenges persist, especially in rural areas. Despite these advancements, many schools in these regions still lack essential facilities, which can be categorized into three main areas: - Infrastructure Deficiencies: Rural schools often struggle with inadequate facilities, including insufficient access to clean water, toilets, electricity, and classrooms, severely affecting students' ability to focus and learn effectively. - Teacher Shortage and Misallocation: India faces a critical shortage of qualified teachers, worsened by ineffective deployment and a heavy reliance on contractual staff. The teacher-student ratio is only 4.3%, i.e. 9.72 million teachers for about 223 million students in both public and private schools, underscoring the urgent need for comprehensive reforms to improve teacher availability and distribution across the country. While progress has been made, addressing these ongoing challenges is crucial to ensuring that every child receives a quality education, regardless of location. At Protium, we recognize the vital role that educational institutions play in societal progress. That’s why we are committed to supporting them in three critical areas: - Expanding Infrastructure: Helping institutions enhance their capabilities through improved facilities. - Upgrading Educational Offerings: Supporting the expansion and enhancement of educational programs. - Acquisition of New School Property: Facilitating the addition of new properties to broaden their reach and impact. With our support, educational institutions can continue to grow and provide quality education, driving progress for future generations #FuelingAmbition #EngineeringFinance #ProtiumProducts #EducationInstitutionalFinance

The impact of our educational initiatives in the Raid Shabong Border Area School, Pynursula, Meghalaya, supported by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO India) as part of its CSR initiative. This collaboration has been a significant step forward in strengthening educational infrastructure in remote regions of India, ensuring that students in these areas have access to quality education. . In our continuous efforts to bridge the educational gap, we recently introduced a Mini Science Centre (MSC) at the school. The MSC is designed to offer students practical, hands-on learning experiences, making abstract scientific concepts more tangible. Among the notable models available in the lab are detailed exhibits of the Human Ear and Eye, which help students understand the intricate workings of these sensory organs. . During a recent session, the school’s teachers demonstrated the functionality of these models, guiding students through the structure and function of the human ear and eye. The visual and interactive approach not only enhanced students' engagement but also deepened their understanding of complex anatomical systems. This method of teaching promotes curiosity and encourages students to explore science beyond textbooks. . NEEPCO’s support has been instrumental in making these resources available to students in this remote region. Their commitment to fostering educational development through CSR programs underscores the role of corporate partnerships in driving meaningful social impact. The initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration between educational institutions and corporations in building a brighter future for young minds. . https://lnkd.in/dK4KcmJb . . . #educationforall #stemeducation #handsonlearning #csrimpact #scienceeducation #humananatomy #northeastindia #neepco #schooldevelopment #futurescientists #minisciencecentre #educationalinnovation #studentengagement #meghalaya #csrindia #csreducationprograms #corporatesocialresponsibility #socialresponsibility #corporateresponsibility #csrinitiatives #csractivities #stemlearning
