Lo on August 7th, 2024, UNIQLO employees in Korea conducted a clean-up activity in the Tancheon River area ahead of the "UNIQLO Lotte World Mall" – the new store will open on September 13th, which will be the country's largest UNIQLO Store, with a floor size of 3,504 square meters.   UNIQLO in Korea organized the clean-up activity to express gratitude to the local community prior to opening its largest store in Korea, located in Lotte World Mall, Seoul’s landmark. Over 30 volunteers from the store and headquarters employees served the area by picking up litter along the Tancheon River trail, which is adjacent to Jamsil in Seoul, near the new store location.   Kuwahara Takao, co-CEO of UNIQLO in Korea said, “We are honored and pleased to open the largest UNIQLO store in Korea inside the Jamsil Lotte World Mall, one of the landmarks in Seoul. As a local community member, UNIQLO has been striving to show our commitment. Our new store will provide products and services that enrich everyone's daily lives, and organize various local-friendly activities continuously to better the lives of people in Seoul.” View more about the activity: https://lnkd.in/ge2TVTVb #uniqlo #lifewear #powerofclothing #uniqloinkorea #newstoreopening #seoul #localcommunity #sustainability #largeststore #globalbusiness #businessexpansion

Uniqlo engineering and quality assurance has a huge problem. I bought an umbrella and the plastic stopper has broken after only using for 200 times. I did not ask for a refund or change. I just wanted a the stopper so that I can repair myself. and the Uniqlo Korea refused.  it's just a small plastic part, and they refused to provide it. why?  really bad engineering and really bad customer service.
