Happy Thanksgiving! As we gather today, let us reflect on the true meaning of gratitude. Thanksgiving isn't just about food or festivities—it's about pausing to recognize the blessings in our lives, no matter how small or grand. 📖 "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 This verse reminds us to carry gratitude in our hearts, not just on this special day but every day. Gratitude has a powerful way of shifting our focus from what we lack to the abundance we already have. It fosters joy, deepens connections, and strengthens faith. Today, I am thankful for: The lessons I’ve learned through challenges. The people who have supported me through every season. The opportunities to grow, love, and make a difference. What are you thankful for this year? Let’s fill the comments with gratitude and inspire each other to see the beauty in our lives. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Thanksgiving filled with love, joy, and peace. 🙏🦃 ✝️🙏📖 If you don’t know who I am, my name is David Vogel, retired CEO turned LinkedIn influencer and Founder of the Church of Unity Society. Today’s Good News 🙏🏽🙌🏽💃🏽 As we embrace the dawn of a new day, let us ponder the profound message found in 1 Samuel 12:24z. These words, spoken by Samuel to the people of Israel, urge us to reflect on the great things that God has done for us. They serve as a gentle reminder to pause and consider the countless blessings, provisions, and miracles that have been woven into the fabric of our lives by the hand of our loving Creator. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to overlook the many ways in which God has been at work in our lives. Yet, when we take a moment to intentionally reflect on His faithfulness, we are filled with gratitude and awe. From the gift of salvation to the countless answered prayers and the small miracles that often go unnoticed, God's fingerprints are evident throughout our journey. As we meditate on His goodness, our hearts overflow with thanksgiving and praise. As we embark on this new day, let us carry with us a spirit of gratitude and reverence for the God who has done great things for us. May we approach each moment with an awareness of His presence and a heart full of thanksgiving. And as we navigate the challenges and joys that lie ahead, may we never forget to pause and consider the great things that He has done, for in doing so, we find renewed strength, hope, and joy in His unfailing love.-REVCCC #ActLikeYouKnow #GoodNews

Read it Wednesday: What are you reading? "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan In the last decade, Francis Chan has become one of my favorite authors and teachers. He had a practical approach to living a basic, authentic, faithfilled life. As Thanksgiving approaches, many of us focus on gratitude for our blessings—family, friends, and life’s comforts. In Crazy Love, Francis Chan challenges us to go even deeper. What if our gratitude centered not just on what we have but on the overwhelming, relentless love of God? Chan reminds us of this truth: “The point of your life is to point to Him. Whatever you are doing, God wants to be glorified, because this whole thing is His.” Thanksgiving isn’t just about being thankful—it’s about living in awe of God’s love and responding with a life of faith, purpose, and generosity. This Thanksgiving, let’s allow our gratitude to shape how we reflect God’s crazy love to others. How can we live in a way that glorifies Him and shares His love with those around us? Have you read this book? How does it inspire your view of gratitude and Thanksgiving? #ReadItWednesday #CrazyLove #FrancisChan #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Faith #Generosity

#gracedews November Theme: Gratitude Journaling: Remembering His Goodness Week Four: A Heart of Thanksgiving Beloved brothers and sisters, As we come to the final week of our gratitude journey, let’s reflect on the transformative power of having a heart of thanksgiving. Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to give thanks to God, not only for the blessings we receive but for the spiritual renewal that comes when we embrace gratitude as a way of life. A heart of thanksgiving is not just a response to God’s goodness; it is a reflection of a life aligned with His will. It draws us closer to God, fills us with peace, and renews our minds, allowing us to experience His presence more fully. Thanksgiving in Scripture: The Bible is filled with exhortations to give thanks to God. Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” This passage reminds us that thanksgiving is our entry point into God’s presence. When we come before Him with a grateful heart, we open ourselves to His love and grace in deeper ways. In 1 Chronicles 16:34, we are told, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” Thanksgiving is an acknowledgment of God's enduring goodness, and it shifts our focus from our circumstances to His eternal nature. No matter what we are going through, God's love remains constant, and that alone is a reason to give thanks. contd in the comments section 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

**The Power of Thanksgiving** Today, as I listened to my pastor speak on Thanksgiving, my heart resonated deeply with the message. One key lesson stood out: *never compare your journey to others.* Life unfolds in seasons, and when it’s your time, nothing can stop the blessings God has in store for you (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Thanksgiving is more than gratitude—it's a spiritual currency that speeds up answered prayers. When we pray with joy, a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), and offer genuine thanksgiving, it results in praise. And when praise goes up, God's presence comes down (Psalm 22:3). God works wonders in the midst of praise. It attracts His divine presence, and where God is, goodness and mercy follow (Psalm 23:6). If you're seeking a breakthrough, add thanksgiving to your prayers, and watch God move. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #FaithJourney #PraiseAndWorship #DivinePresence #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianLiving

Thanksgiving is the call to give thanks in all circumstances. It doesn't mean we're thankful for everything that happens, but in everything, we find a reason to be thankful. Discipleship involves cultivating a spirit of thanksgiving, recognizing that every moment, whether joyful or challenging, is an opportunity to acknowledge God's presence and sovereignty. Gratitude is not just a pleasant reaction to favorable circumstances; it's a disposition of the heart that aligns with the will of God. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, from our problems to God's provision. It's a transformative practice that fosters contentment and joy, crucial elements of the disciple's journey. In expressing thanks, we acknowledge God as the source of all good things, fostering humility and dependence. As disciples, let our lives be marked by a continuous rhythm of thanksgiving, a melody that echoes God's goodness in every circumstance. Take a moment to reflect on your current circumstances. Can you find something to be thankful for, even in challenges? Consider starting a gratitude journal to regularly note the things you're thankful for. In your interactions today, express gratitude to those around you. Amen🙏

Today’s Good News 🙏🏽🙌🏽💃🏽 1 Timothy 4:4 (KJV): “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.” In 1 Timothy 4:4, Paul reminds Timothy of the goodness of God’s creation and the importance of gratitude in how we engage with the gifts God has provided. In the context of this passage, Paul is addressing false teachings that forbid certain foods or practices, encouraging believers to remember that everything created by God is inherently good. When we receive these gifts with thanksgiving, we honor the Creator who gave them to us. This verse challenges us to approach life with a posture of gratitude, seeing the blessings in even the simplest things—a meal shared, the beauty of nature, or the relationships we cherish. In real life, it’s easy to overlook or take for granted the everyday blessings God has placed in our lives. We might even fall into the trap of rejecting certain good things, influenced by fear, doubt, or legalistic thinking. However, this verse invites us to embrace God’s provision with thanksgiving, recognizing that His gifts are meant to nourish and bless us. Gratitude transforms our perspective, allowing us to see God’s hand in the ordinary and to rejoice in His abundant goodness. Today, let us intentionally receive what God gives—whether big or small—with a thankful heart, trusting in His wisdom and generosity. Prayer: Lord, thank You for the goodness of Your creation and for the many blessings You have given me. Help me to see Your hand in every good thing and to receive Your gifts with a heart full of gratitude. Teach me to trust in Your provision and to honor You by embracing the life You’ve called me to with thanksgiving and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #ActLikeYouKnow #GoodNews
