✍ Stories are one of the most powerful ways of communication in the world. It can change lives. Youth Ki Awaaz strongly believes in that. This is why when it came to our Zero Se Hero campaign, we did exactly that. ➡ The ways in which climate change affects the lives of people are numerous. Think mobility, health, education, finance, etc. When these stories are told, the gravity of the situation becomes clear to people. 💡 We trained over 200 young people on telling stories about impacts of climate change. This helped influence the larger narrative and equipped everyday citizens to talk about the issue of climate change from diverse lenses of gender, policy, future reforms, etc. Head to this link to read these stories: https://lnkd.in/d9GKjdfP #ClimateAction #ClimateChange #NetZeroEmissions #ZeroSeHero #YouthKiAwaaz #Campaigns

There’s a role for us in every one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals 🌍 As #UNGA79 unites the world to tackle pressing global issues, one message stands clear: youth participation is essential. Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, reminds us that young people are not just beneficiaries but key drivers of change. Whether it’s ending hunger, advocating for quality education, fighting for climate action, or leading efforts for social justice, young leaders have a unique opportunity to transform our world into a better, more inclusive place. At UNGA79, we can no longer rely on traditional solutions for modern challenges—the time is now. The consequences of our actions today shape the world that future generations will inherit. That’s why it’s crucial for young people to have a voice in global conversations. ✨ #WorldScouting #Scouts #UnitedNations #SDGs #SOTF
