As part of the doctoral research project, I study innovation collaboration networks in innovation communities from macro and micro perspectives. Here is a small example of how innovation collaborations evolve over the years in open innovation communities in my research context. The project is still in its early stages, but my curiosity to learn dynamic network analysis and visualization has surprised me with this outcome. It reveals a lot about the emergence of small and large connected/isolated components over the years based on the cumulative time-period (2005-2019). (Blue nodes : formal high-status individuals)

The EIC Pathfinder falls under the Horizon Europe program and provides assistance to research teams by funding projects that aim to establish the scientific foundation for groundbreaking technologies. This support extends to early-stage research in scientific, technological, and deep-tech fields, with a focus on exploring new and innovative directions in science and technology to disrupt industries and create new opportunities. The program also helps in developing and scaling up innovative technological solutions that can lead to breakthrough technologies and disruptive innovations in Europe. Grant funding is available for early-stage technology development, with grants of up to 3 to 4 million euros for activities at low Technology Readiness Levels (TRL 1-3) up to proof of concept. Additionally, Pathfinder projects may receive extra funding to test the innovation potential of their research outcomes. Beneficiaries of the program have access to tailored Business Acceleration Services (BAS), including global partnerships, coaching, mentoring, expertise, training, and connections to the innovation ecosystem and peers. The EIC Pathfinder offers two main funding schemes: Pathfinder Challenges, which are focused on specific thematic areas and have a budget of 120 million euros in 2024, and Pathfinder Open, which supports projects across various fields without predefined thematic priorities and has a budget of 136 million euros in 2024. https://buff.ly/32e2TDS #ukgrants #startupgrants #businessgrants #ukgovernmentgrant #sme #smegrant #businessfunding #smefunding #technologygrant #innovationgrant #capti #captiinnovation #gamechanging #gamechanginginnovation #disruptiveinnovation

Technology and Innovation Support Centres (TISCs) are on the rise, with 1,500 centres in 93 countries receiving 2.2 million requests for scientific and technical support in 2023 alone. The acceleration of technological development in recent years has created new opportunities for innovation. LMICs are looking to use these centres to take advantage of these opportunities, which has become a primary driver in the popularity of TISCs. For larger companies and governments, TISCs are an opportunity to support innovation. For individuals and organisations in LMICs, these centres are a chance to access to the latest scientific and technological developments. The support they offer allows researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs in these regions to gain a foothold against the digital divide. In the long run, I believe TISCs and similar initiatives will be instrumental in creating a more equitable world. By helping to spread knowledge and access to technology, they help to ensure everyone can benefit from the latest innovations. At the same time, it will revolutionise the global economy, creating a wealthier and more creative world. #Innovation #InnovationEcosystem #ARDI #EconomicGrowth
